Angel Box

I got in my Stampin'Up! Bitty Box & Envelope Bigz xl dies (item #115967 in the Idea Book & Catalog) on Friday and after a morning of grocery shopping with DH......................which just happens to drive me bonkers bye the way. I snuck downstairs to my craft room and played, making my first ever Bitty Angel Box. Did you recognize the Designer Paper??? Yeppers it's SU too.........................."Merry Moments" (item # 115672 in the IB & C) Sorry this is not a very good scan, but I added some sparkles on the Angel wings & ribbon. Noel Magnolia

Hey there, Just another Christmas Magnolia I'm sharing.............

You can't hardly see by the scan but I stamped falling ornaments on the background with rich razzleberry ink (one of SU new "in color") to match the card stock, and stamped the sentiment "Have yourself a merry little Christmas"..........same sentiment as on the twill ribbon. How cool is that! Happy Stampin' Yall

Workshop Cards

Hello there! I wanted to share some of the cards that I did at a all day workshop that I attended. It was from 10:00am until 10:00pm...........lunch was provided and dinner was your decision, it was held at one of the local hotels in Soldotna tho I have to tell you it was a chilly -7 degree's when I got into town! This wonderful stamp of the bear is from a retired SU set.........sorry

Here I'm using up some cut out pictures from an old Mary Englebert desk calendar, so in fact I'm recycling my calendar .......LOL, they make some great cards, and the pictures are so cute!

Yes I'm still on a roll doing Christmas cards

So any who this card that I put together using Santa tag & inchie's are from a couple of sheets of designer 12 x 12 paper.

I told you I really loved doing this Sepia technique, so here's another one using the same stamp set from SU (Holy Triptych) Now using this technique I used a stiff flat dry brush to work more color closer to the Angel all around her, I highlighted with a blue on her wings and of course I added sparkle to the wings but you can't see because of the scan.

All my cards that I make use SU card stock............I just really like the heavy weight of the 80 lb high quality........did you know that its also Acid Free, Lignin Free and buffered making it safe to use in all your scrap booking. Happy Stampin' Y'all!

Holy Triptych Sepia

I really liked the "Sepia Technique" so well I thought of using another SU set "Holy Triptych" (item 110370) in the IB&C.

I colored in the stamped image with Prisma pencils last nite by candle light during our electrical outage, I had just brought them upstairs to work on them and "poof" we loose electricity for an hour! News said over 9000 customers lost it. Happy Stampin'Yall!

Sepia Christmas

I tried a new tutorial from Technique Junkies on these 2 cards using SU's Dasher (item #116816 in the IB&C Book)

As you'll notice the first card is a little lighter than the second one that I did..............but I really like how both turned out. Big snowflakes are retired SU Felt Flurries, sorry guys!

I used the Uni-ball Signo Gel Pen(item# 105021) to highlight on area of Dasher, Designer Series Paper is also SU called "Merry Moments' (item#115672)

Sweet & Simple

This is just a simple Christmas card that I did up with some Designer Paper, Nestabilites, stickers and edge punch...........yes I know my card is slightly askewed, some day we are all off a little tho aren't we???? LOL

This first card that I'm sharing with you today is from Cornish Heritage Farms Rubber Stamps I stamped it with the recommended Versa-Fine Black Ink, dry brush in the colors and then embossed it with clear powder..........I really like how it turned out for my swap.

This card was a tag card swap............I got in some new embossing folders and had to try it out, and painted SU Shimmer Paint (Platinum #116807 in the Holiday Mini Catalog) on one of the Stamps from Delightful Decorations (#116517 in the Holiday Mini) then punched it out with the Newest Ornament punch that came out from SU (#116794 also in the Holiday Mini)

Added a little bit of ribbon and tied on the tag ornament

This card I tried a new technique with Gesso, letting it dry overnite and embossing it in a folder then sand the raised parts.............this was also another swap card, Hey I hope you're having a good week so far. Happy Stampin' Y'all!

Christmas Poinsettias

Just wanted to share with you a Christmas card that I worked on...........boy did it take a while for this one because of all the cutting of the Poinsettias.

I used a technique on the middle flower called Smooch Direct..........you actually just paint on the Smooch paint right on the card stock, love the shimmering effect it makes. Tho I bet my H2O's would be just as good!

Happy Fall Y'all

Well I'm getting in the swing of things here making some Christmas cards........using some Cri-cut cut out tree's on designer paper that I had in-stock. The cute little Angels are C.C. Designs which I colored in and cut out, mounted next to the Christmas Tree. Yes I thought I use nontraditional colors for this Christmas card...........and I thought it turn out great, just because I had some awesome coordinating designer paper. This is what I worked on today

I penciled in the skull first on the wall and then we mixed up the main color of paint. Here I am painting. this is the second coat of bone color drying..........."we took a Ice tea break " here's the finished product in all it's glory...............of course photo doesn't do justice of seeing it on the wall personally! Here we are standing next to the wall art............her son came in and said "Really Sick"..........meaning he really loved it!!!! What teenager wouldn't???? LOL We spent approximately 5 hours working on this "Really Sick" Skull
