Julie's Birthday Card

Okay I thought that Julie's card was missing something so I added a larger 3 layer flower, more ribbon and leaves.......
This for a very good friends birthday that's coming up real soon.......
I got a wild hair and even decorated the inside, if you know your Stampin'Up! stamps you'll notice that the inside stamped images of the flowers & presents are from the Sale-a-brations free products........Happy Moments. Remember it's running until March 31 st.
We are going to meet up and suprise her and have a Luncheon ........what fun it will be !!!! LOL Happy Stampin'Yall

Eskimo Kiss

Well Hello there! I did this card mostly for a challenge on SBS which you had to include at least one tree. I am so addicted to Stampin'Up cardstock .......that's all I like to use anymore, you can't beat the quality in it. Honestly I've used other brands and I have not come across a better one yet that I care to use.....sorry LOL **Tree Stamp & other snowflakes used is SU. **Printed window sheets that have snowflakes on it are layered over the entire card.......adds a great effect! Happy Stampin' Yall

Old & New Stampin'Up!

This is a monthly sketch that SBS26 is having and I signed on to do a swap so I got it done today. I used the newest jumbo wheel from SU called "Very Vintage" it's from the Mini Occasions Catalog on page 27 item 117693. I used the TJ technique called "Burnish Background" for the main focal point in the sketch........the inks used are Melon Mambo, Dusty Durango and Bermuda Bay.

Stampin'Up! Deco Page

I really need to get my PSP program loaded back onto my computer so I can make a sharper image of the photos that I take..........anyway this is stamped with a retired stamp set but by far one of my favorites. Flowers was the theme for this book and I had fun making this for Mary Kay, she was the local stamp store owner until she closed shop .....we all sure miss her!

Snap shots of our Sunsets

I couldn't resist taking a couple pictures of the beauty of these sunsets to share with you.
Second one is kind of blurry but just showing you the coloring of what we get here in Alaska.

New Punch Design

Starting with the new 2010 Occasions Mini Catalog and continuing with all new punch designs going forward, Stampin' Up! has adopted a new body style for our punches! A few features of the new punch style: Low-profile, rectangular punch body allows for easier stacking and storing Punches lock shut for easier storage and transport Dual labels on top and end allow for easy identification and selection when stored Available in three sizes: small, medium, and extra-large New punches allow for larger punched images and more intricate designs while providing greater ease of use. Extra -large punch images also allow for two-step designs like the Two-Step Bird punch in the Occasions Mini Catalog Corner punches allow you to punch a corner design along the inside edges of a page, not just corners larger, whole-hand handle design provides better leverage for easier use Available in an exclusive Stampin' Up! color Part of Stampin' Up!'s commitment to providing demonstrators and customers with the very best crafting tools includes the belief in what we call continuous improvement. Essentially what this means is that even if something works very well, but we see a chance to improve it, we will work to make it even better. While new punch designs will be in the new body style, existing designs will remain in the existing body style for now.

Happy New Year~2010

Wishing You all the best for our New Year that we are about to welcome in, have a safe one tonite!

I still don't have my tower back from the puter hospital, talked to the doc. yesterday and he said that it's on my DH's side something happened and now he's gotta figure out what's going on......(I took it in on Dec. 14th, but they wouldn't be able to get to it for a week) ....getting lonely here with out it.

Hope that your still getting some crafting done and looking forward to seeing what you've been doing lately......until later.

Well I had to take my tower in to the shop, it had been acting up and was kind of sick so she's in the puter hospital............hence no pictures of cards, oh but wait I haven't been doing any cards lately because I've been working! At least I have my laptop! Otherwise I'd be having DT'S!!! Last week we had a power outage for 11 hours without electric............heavy wet snow caused a downed tree on a power line. Oh what fun my day was, we do heat with wood so I was warm and my kitchen stove is propane/electric so I fixed a big pot of Spaghetti. Tonite we are advise that a snow blizzard is coming our way. (supposed to be 4-6 inches of the white stuff) Hope your all getting your last minute Christmas shopping done, I have a few more to get out of the way. "Happy Stampin Ya'll"

Mistletoe Tilda

Hey there, just got my pre-order stamps in that were ordered in October......yeah it was really hard waiting on these cutie pies! Well here's one that I did, it's a hurry up card for a image swap with a blogging sister in Canada.
Isn't she just adorable????? LOL with cookies & a pretzel in her pockets. Until next time......Happy Stampin'Yall!

Simple Sprig Wreath

Here's another wreath that I put together.........this is done with layered circular stamping using a small sprig stamp, then stamp your mini pine cones.
Stamp your choice of image in center or leave blank. I used the Sepia technique on the background with 2 color coordinating blue stamp pads........I'm sending this card to one of my best friends for Christmas I know she'll love it! Hope you having a great week so far~ Happy Stampin' Yall!

Little Norway Girl

Hey there, thanks for stopping by..........this cute little girl I got as a free digi download from Simply Inger, isn't she just cute as a button! You too can get her here
I stamped the trees (Lovely as a Tree.....#115026, $27.95) and and added snow (white liquid appliqued) & sparkling stickles. I colored my little girl and layered her on the card, using the Boho Blossoms flower punch (item #110711 $15.95) placing it on the lower edge of the card. Hope your having a great weekend so far..............Happy Stampin' Yall!

Shopping Bella

Just another swap card that I'm showing you...........did you recognize the embossing on the back ground of the card? Yeppers it's Stampin'Up! the Elegant Bouquet Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (item #115964 for $7.95)
I'm trying to keep these cards that I make rather simple and not bulky for shipping .........oh here's a tip - trick that I've come up with and been doing is to flip the card inside so the bulk will be inside and it will help pad the card for shipping. Happy Stampin'Yall!

Mary Englebright

Just thought I'd share a Swap card that I made for one of my Yahoo groups, it's done with some more of my recycled calendar pictures........I tried to match up the yellow background to match the picture's wall paper so I drew straight lines added dots and some squiggly lines.
I hand drew the Holly leaves and cut them out, added a candy brad...........Happy Stampin'Yall!

Joyeux Noel

Long time no crafting but I drug my self down to the craft room and finished off some Christmas cards and made a new one using one of my newest Cuttlebug folders that I got lately................this technique again is using the Sepia.
On this technique I embossed the card stock and took a brayer over the embossed area with a multi-colored stamp pad, then of course you can't see because of the scan but it has sparkles on the snowflakes as well as the on the wreath too! Happy Stampin'Y'all!
