Simple Birthday Card

This is a hurry up and make it fast Birthday card for a friend on his April Fool's Birthday!

I started with the Stampin' UP set called "For Father" in the Occasions Mini Collection 2008 catalog.
I used my Cuttle Bug Birthday Folder to get the background on the blue cardstock.
Stamped with close to cocoa (SU color) for the background color on the brown cardstock, added some eyelet on the edges of the main image and ran some ribbon thru.

Asian Deco

I aquired some new Asian stamps and had to give them a try.........the Kimono stamp is by "Judkin" and the others are a Asian Writing Set by "Stamp in the Hand"

I started with some coasters that I aquired from Red Lobster on vacation last year and covered them with some designer paper.........I've had them setting around and I knew I'd use them for something one day! I painted the kimono flowers with Periwinkle Radiant Rains and the tag on the back is from TAC.

This Deco was done for "Next Generation Stampers" Round Robin

Deco for Recipes

I usually don't have a lot of time especially for making these but it's been on my mind to do the "Recipe Deco" for several months now. It has a place for 12 recipes to be added, I got my paper at a local paper store with a sheet of rub-on's.

More fun making cards

I stamped these out last nite but had to wait for the glitter to dry on the Coffee card........some more of the Impression Obession stamps that I'd yet got a chance to use. I used the coffee beans from Stampin'Up's "Like it a latte"

Lazy days of Summer was an inspiration of Art Impression Clear stamps..........again some stamps that I'd not used before. I use "Shore thing" by Stampin'Up as the background stamps, isn't the Penguin adorable in lounging beauty.........LOL

Spring Break in Alaska

We've been on Spring Break this week so that's why I've had all the time to play in my craftroom making some cards ..........well you can't forget the house hold chores of Spring Cleaning too, that's been the number one thing that I've been doing.

These two card are made from stuff that was in my drawer that I just put together for Easter. the bunny was stamp out long time ago and colored in yellow, well I don't do yellow very good so I changed the coloring a bit........adding ribbon and scalloped circles with Stickles hi-lites.

The flowers on the next card are 3-D stickers, just a simple lay-out with a mega scalloped circle punch. I use my scalloped scissors for the edging of the background paper.

Challenge Card for Technique Junkies

I got a new stamp from Impression-Obessions and had to give it a try ........love the Peacock!

The background technique is "Reinker Splash" and the Peacock is done in Twinkling H2O's over sprayed with "Radiant Rains" Gold Shimmer.

I stamped out 2 of the images so I tried blue & green themes to see which one I liked best.
Green theme is layered on Gold/Dark Blue, Blue theme is layered on Gold/Black.

Maukie - the virtual cat 2

I found him on another bloggers website and fell in love with him........I call it a him because I have Tuxedo cat just like him named "Oreo" and he's so playful too!

Never enough time for craftng!

Well even tho it was a 3 day weekend for me I still never have enough time for crafting cards......with all the household chores that seem to need to come first. LOL

I did a simple birthday card for a Friend using some scallop punches and designer paper.

I've been doing Deco pages for several years now and always enjoy coming up with a new page for someone's book, the theme was baby/maternity.......so here's my page and the scan it's the greatest

Forgotten passwords

Well I went and did it.......... for got my password & wrote it down, guess what I found it finally so today so I'm back up and running......LOL

I was on a roll this past week end I pumped out several cards for a birthday and St. Patty's Day

I used my cuttle bug folder for the background and my mega scallop punch with SU's circle punch.........believe the slide mount is a die cut
Finally had a chance to use my Irish Blessing stamp, the filigree corners are cuttle bug...........I know that my Mother-in-law & Mother will enjoy the cards.
