Raspberry Jam!

I got a wild hair and went to a friends house and picked raspberries yesterday, well I couldn't let them go to waste and I love my raspberry jam! So this is what I did with them today. It's been so long since I've canned anything ............not for wanting to it's just to darn expensive, our electric is so high for 930 kilwatts my bill was 179.99 with all the added charges of customer rates, regulatory cost and borough taxes. So this was a specialty for me to preserve some raspberry jam!!! ........................................Yeah Donna I know I owe you a jar for all the berries I picked! LOL

C.C. Designs Fairy

I went to a friends today to make cards and I only got this one done because I was visiting too much and helping her figure out the sandwich for Spellbinders Wizard using the Stampin'Up! Texture plates.........up shot was you need the Charm Embossing Kit to work with the SU texture plates. Of course the scan doesn't show the glitter on her wings and around the edges of the torn inked card stock. I had some left over scrap lace that I added and mounted below her on the torn image, using the Martha Stewart scallop punch on the edges of the designer paper and also the teal card stock. SU sentiment was used. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Happy Stamping Y'all!

PCP Challenge #30

This is Paper Craft Planet's sketch challenge for the week....... I got my card done today using my Oval Creative Memories cutting system........these puppies are pretty slick, I want to get more of the other shapes! I used some of my left over scraps from last week's green coredinations card stock to cut out the oval and sanded the edges layering it with DP........also from the scallop circle left overs I used it for today's card in the outer edges circle. The little Elf is a stamp set I got last winter from Close to my Heart, sentiment is unknown at the time. I had fun doing this sketch of the week.........thank Maria for providing it! Until next time............Happy Stamping!

Tilda at Sea

Okay I finally actually got some long wanted Magnolia Stamps and this is one that I chose for the day to make a card with these image of Tilda are so cute...........one of my kids made a comment that she has no mouth??? Well my reply was she can't talk back then! LOL I'm so sold on Copic markers it makes the images so much more vibrant and clean looking, sorry I didn't write down the color combo that I used for coloring. Designer Paper is SU- Memento Ink-GP Paper-Organza Teal Ribbon Thanks for stopping by.............hope you have had a great crafting week!

Elegant Bouquet Christmas Cards

Wow I actually had a pretty quite day, just the furry critters and myself was home most of the day so I got some need cards prepared for the LCG The "Ladies Card Guild" is coming up the end of the month, I've changed my card that I was going to have everyone make.......using the SU embossing folder "Elegant Bouquet"........well I have to work that day but it's going to be a fun day taking Senior Citizens to the Palmer Fair. After embossing the sheet I punched a hole in the center of the flower so the layered color would show thru........some I put stickles glitter glue in the center flower for sparkle., also punched out a flower adding it to the flourish that's embossed. The Christmas bells are DP by Paper Planet I cut each one out and layered on SU gold cardstock, bet you already know the punch used on the edge.........by Martha Stewart, one of my favorites! Wow that's 4 total Christmas cards that I've gotten done so far this month, I think this is the first year that I think I might be ahead of the game! LOL Plus I'll be getting all the cards that the Ladies have designed and shared too! Thanks for stopping by to see what I've been up to again this month!

Mischievous Kitty

You know how you stamp out images and forget about them???? Well I found this Penny Black kitty and so I made a untraditional colored Christmas card...........who says they have to be always red, green and blues???? I just fell in love with this image and had fun corrdinating the colors...........too bad scanned pictures don't show up better! The background was a dotted lilac color and I added snowflakes turned it out so much better that way. So does this wanna make you think Christmas yet??? Hey thanks for stopping by!

Christmas Card for Ladies Guild

We decided last round of card making day that we would do Christmas cards to get a jump ahead for the Holidays..........so this is my card for the Ladies! We try to keep all our cards simple and easy! This is a long retired set SU called "Sweet Seasons"...........I totally forgot about this set until I had a friend over to craft for the day. We worked on getting her cards ready for the Ladies Card Guild and then played making cards out of scraps. Thanks for coming by for a look see! Until later, hope you are having a great week!

Change............

I couldn't stand it, but my Magnolia card was needing something else so I added a few snow flakes to the card.........I painted on the Radiant Rains on the larger snow flake. I'm still not sure if this what it needs ..........I keep thinking it's kind of plain jane????

Let it Snow-Challenge #28 PCP

Wahoooooooo! I just got my first Magnolia stamps in the mail yesterday from 7kids college fund online and I am really happy so far, these come with cling already on them! So you can see that I was having fun playing and I came across this Challenge on Paper Craft Planet, I couldn't resist using my newest stamps! The challenge was to use embossed on the top part of your card and Designer paper on the bottom........I double bugged the top using the Technique Junkies formula. On the scalloped oval I stamped mini snowflakes and sprayed Radiant Rains on top for more sparkle. Also painted with Radiant Rains onto the embossed snowflakes.(which you can't tell on the scan) Thanks for coming by to have a look see!

August Sketch Swap Card

Yeah, yeah I signed up again to do a swap for another yahoo group that I'm on and this is the sketch card that I came up with using mostly SU retired Pacific Point designer paper. The large scallop circle is actually cut in half, after I cut it out using the SU Bigz Die-cut. The flowers are also from a retired SU set "Both way Blossoms" using Pacific Point ribbon and adding just a little bit more embellishments, punched flowers on the edge of the card. Thanks for stopping by to see what I've been craftin'!

Dream World Card

Well sometime you just get in one of those moods and need to stamp outside of your realm and or outside of the box as some would say ..........so I came up with card. Now I had in mind making a swap card for a yahoo group, so I ended up using some new & old stamps...........the "latest purchase" is the old world background stamp.

Double Bugging

Well I have signed up for some swaps on a yahoo group and thought I'd better get busy and get these done......Sugar Nellie's Windswept is the image that I used and the background is the double bugging method and edged it with a Martha Stewart's punch. The flowers on the edges are the second part of the double bugging if you couldn't tell........finished it off with a little bit of ribbon bow. Thanks for coming bye to have a look see what I've been up to!
