What to do with.....used Seed Packs
When you have planted the seeds! Now I love Nasturtiums flower & I plant them every summer so I decide to save the empty package, instead of throwing it away.Well I came up with this design for a flower a tag card
Here’s the instruction for my card……
1. I cut the seed pack top off as it was ragged.
2. I used red line tape to seal bottom of seed pack
3. Embossed Nasturtium stamp image with black powder.
4. Stamp image again with dye ink for flowers on tags.
5. Color in images….(copic’s didn’t work with embossed images)
6. Line up stamped image to top of seed pack, attach with adhesive.
7. Layer seed pack on cardstock……I used black & summer sun (SU)
8. Attach ribbon to sides at angles and make bow to attach
9. Make tags to fit into seed pack pocket.
10. Layer all on to pumpkin pie cardstock (SU)
Whole lot of Shaking going on!
Try JibJab Sendables® eCards today!
We had an earthquake yesterday about 11:28 am it was a shaker and then it rolled quite a bit. It registered at 5.4...........now normally we have earthquakes all the time here but not big ones!

Knitted Bag
I had some left over Sugar & Cream cotton yarn, so this is what I came up with.......not sure what I'm gonna do with it as I have no little girls. Maybe I'll save it to wrap up a gift for someone later on!
Playin with the Bug!
I played with my Cuttlebug today using the "Double Bugging Technique" that's in the Technique Junkies newsletter.
For this card I used Stampin'Up Cardstock, Scallop Edge Punch and Inks. Ribbon is just from one of the fabric stores here in town. Tho I wanted it to be a little distressed so Ranger Inks came in handy too.

Sorry I have been MIA
I was on the Tour Bus driving, took Black Sox’s baseball players up to Palmer, Ak. for a game with the Mat-Su Miner's (sorry they didn’t do too good….10-2 Mat-Su skunked them bad) then back to Anchorage on Sunday nite……my day ended around midnite!
Monday (I was up at 4:30am) I had folks from an International Flight that was diverted to Anchorage because of a Volcano eruption somewhere around Russia, they stayed over nite at the Alyeska Resort Hotel in Girdwood (40 miles south of Anchorage) and I picked them up and took them to the Airport in the morning.

Boy things are still changing at the North Terminal, they had an area that we use to park Tour Buses at now it's all glassed in ..........no more parking, it's all pretty much drop off your passengers and go now!
I needed some more ZZZZZ 's so I went back and took a short nap at the hotel I was staying in, then got in some shopping at Sam's Club, Michaels's (a new Tim Holtz Acrylic stamp set) and Pet -Co............can't forget my furry kids!
Then I had a trip at 3:00pm, I picked up kids from Germany to work in the Fish Processing Plant that’s located in Kenai. (remember it’s a 3 hour drive one way)
Total Miles driven for 2 day was 630……..I’m glad I have a few days off!

Gemstones Stamps Giveaway
Reviewed by Maria Nerius.............There is a lacey, airy feel to Inkadinkado’s new line of Gemstones. The name should give you a little hint because Gemstones is all about the bling! You can embellish these images with just about anything in your bling arsenal: glitter glue, craft gems, beads, tiny buttons, puff paint, and so much more. Even the novice can design something that sparkles with easy to find places within each image where bling can be added. There is a bold flourish to Gemstones. We tested Gemstone Hearts, Gemstone Flowers, and Gemstone Flourishes. Each set had 5-7 images. You use clear stamps with acrylic blocks (place stamp onto block, stamp, remove, clean, and store). Clear stamps are less bulky than traditional rubberstamps and storage is so much easier..........Testing Feedback
Loved the bold and delicate design of these stamps.
Images coordinate well within sets and sets coordinate well with other sets. This gives you tons of design options.
Images were great for corners and borders. Images are very versatile to any style.
Gemstones really help you create dimensional designs, which is so much better than flat, one-dimensional creations. No guesswork or worry.
Images had an innovative feel while still allowing you to create vintage style.
The Inkadinkado large Clear Block was very easy to handle. The wavy edge made it more secure and comfortable in your hand.
WIN THIS STAMP SET!
We are giving away one stamp sets consisting of 2 Gemstone Sets, 1 Inkadinkado Large Clear Block and 1 inkpad

Friendship Swap~Local
I had been honestly putting off making my 10 cards for this swap because I'd lost the will & energy to do any cards there for awhile.
But I buttoned down and came up with this.........I wanted a summer theme but it had to be a friendship card too!
1. I ran the jumbo roller of something fishy over torn paper, ran it thru the cuttlebug and lightly went over raised areas with Kiwi Kiss stamp pad.
2. Staz-on stamped the sail boat in dark blue, using nestibilities cut out/dry emboss rectangle running it thru the cuttlebug.
3. Stamp sentiment & sun on main cardstock.
4. Latestly put it all together and add stickles in the water for sparkle.
5. All stamps used are Stampin'Up! (Life's a Breeze)
