Bella & Kitties

This is some inches from one of the Cat sets from Inkadinkado that I picked up in Anchorage on one of my travels on the Tour Bus. One of the best parts about it, is they were on sale for 30% off! LOL Well I needed something else to add to the inches so Bella jumped in and helped me out with her kitties and she's colored with Copic markers other items used are SU cardstock & SU satin ribbon.
This is what I put inside the card, Thanks for coming and having a look see!

How about a NO stamping card?

This is actually for a swap next month and I'm trying to get ahead of the game here! I used the SU Top Note Bigz Die-cut as the main background and sponged on the colors then sprayed it with Radiant Rains, using my Cri-cut I cut out the Bear, Trees and Moon. Oh yeah I used some brown flock and added it to the bear for dimension where it's muscle mass would be. Layering it all on Designer paper and adding some straw twine on the edges to make it look a little more wild??? Thanks for coming and having a look see!

Swap & Thank You Card

The first card was an image swap .....the person was to send you images and then you make a card out of one of the images, I did a lot of layering on this card.( Images were butterflies that were sent)
I cased this idea from Jeannie I just love the booby card......LOL It's pretty simple to make using mostly hand punches from Stampin'Up!

Swap Cards Received

This is so cute it is paper pieced on the little girl.....
So elegant looking........

Simply elegant card using puffy paint on the flowers.
Hope you enjoyed looking at all the new ideas, I love doing these swaps and seeing what others come up with.......our theme as you probably know was "Friendship" for this swap. Now I need to get busy for the next one! LOL

Stampin'Up! Voila cards

The first one is for a workshop, I couldn't figure out what I wanted to do because I have to keep it simple and easy as the ladies that come to the workshops have several levels of skill. I did watercoloring on whisper white cardstock. All SU products are used to make all the cards that you see here today, I did use the Designer Paper Razzleberry Lemonade for all these cards. This card was done by stamping the image first on whisper white and the stamp the image again on Designer Paper and cutting out the parts you want to place on the whisper white image. On this next card I used SU water color paper that is 100#lb then I cut it with the Bigz Die Top Note Die-cut and mounted it on the DP.I'm rather happy how all the cards came out today, I had the day all to myself with nobody home but Desi, Cush and myself so I had no major interruptions.

Got some needed cards done

I join a sketch swap and am a little late getting it out because I've been gone for 8 days straight driving the Tour Bus, boy did I need this time that I'm off too! Here in Alaska we take full advantage of the construction season but it sure sucks to be stuck in a 45 minute traffic waiting for the pilot car that directs you down the one lane road around construction! (A normal 3 hour drive takes me 4 1/4 hours) Anyway I'm back and got some cards done......first is the July Sketch card using some of newly purchased Gorjuss Girls. I'm just loving my Gorjuss Girls that I got from Funky Kits in the United Kingdom, this card is for the Ladies Card Guild on Friday.......I always say I'm not gonna go but it's too fun not to! Lots of catching up with friends that I've not seen for awhile and lots of card makin' going on!

On The Road Again........

I will be gone for several days this next week on the Tour bus, leaving today. I'll have my Laptop with me so if I have a chance to check in I will try and let you all know where I'm at and how things are going. So keep your positive thoughts out there for me as I travel the roads this next week!

Another Flower Pot Card

These take a little work but they sure turn out pretty! All Stampin'Up! products are used to make this slider card with flowers layering on top of one another.
SU Supplies used:
  1. Dusty Durango Ink, cardstock & Polka-Dot Grosgrain Ribbon
  2. The New "Blossom Party" Die-Cut
  3. Bigz Die-Cut Flower Layer with leaf
  4. Sizzlits Die-Cut Daisy Flower
  5. Hand Punch Boho Blossoms
  6. Circle Circus Stamp Set
  7. Dazzling Diamond Glitter

Dang Pesky Bears!

LOL I just love these Judith stamps that I got the other day at the LSS (sadly it's closing the end of this month) I dry brushed the bear & trash can, then started layering some scene stamps. Thanks goodness I have not had the problems with bears in my area, but they are a nuisance at times getting in to trash cans or getting the seeds in a bird feeder.

"All Pooped Out" & Rolled Houses

Well I had to get busy and get some swap cards done and this is for IFS and I had to use my latest purchased item to make a card with so this.......is a sentiment, lazy bear & mosquitoes from Judith Stamps. I used up some of my scrap designer papers and cut out part of our local newspaper's weather forecast using my nestibilities for the background. Okay here's one for ya! It's actually Rolled Houses from Stampin'Up's Jumbo Wheel over-layed with Vellum and stamped with Black Staz-on using Fred Mullet stamp. This is also a swap card with "Anything Goes".........I hope the receiver likes it, I hand cut each and everyone of these little houses out of designer paper.

Flower Pot with Insert

I've been playing with this idea to do for a Workshop that I have coming up really soon and will twik the colors of card stock to fit for the new Stampin' Up catalog that just came out the first of July. I've looked and looked at this card and actually thought it was rather difficult to do but taking more time to see how the dimensions were cut it's really easy! Now to let you know what' going on in my world lately............

I got home this morning at 2:30am ……….slept until 10:00am, was taking Tourist back to Anchorage for a flight out.

Traffic was so bad took me ½ hour to go 5 miles in bumper to bumper snail trailing traffic all going back to Anchorage after the long Holiday weekend.

We didn’t get to stop at the Conservation Center for Wildlife (traffic again) ended up being ½ hour late to the Airport, yes they did barely make their flight!

I took a girlfriend with me on this trip (she’d never been on a Tour Bus) so it was an experience for her………we went to Apple Bee’s for dinner.

1. Got there at 9:00pm

2. we must have had 5 different waitress’s

3. ½ hour later order came wrong for me

4. ended up taking ½ the order home because of the late hour

5. Was kind of upset until manager came over to say “I hear you had problems with your order”………….long story short …….OUR DINNER WAS FREE

Did a quick run thru Wal-mart for a few things and hit the road for home!

The sunset was so gorgeous………….with orange, red’s and pink’s wish I would have had a camera! Actually saw folks hang out side of vehicles taking pictures of it.

I have to tell you it’s not all fun as I have a log book to keep for my times & places that I drive besides the clean up of the bus after wards, so folks are just plain out right pigs……….and you think that you’d hate to see their home! And others are just really nice and clean you really appreciate them a lot!

I finally turned off my light after reading a few pages in my book at 3:00am.......usually I read for hour or so but I was just plain pooped!
