Pink Stamper Challenge & Swap

Hello there are you ready for October's fun with Halloween just around the corner??  LOL  This is my card for Pink Stamper & a card swap..........I think she has one of the cutest faces!  Don't you love the peeking kitty on the side?
"Well I have to tell you I was contacted by the company that supplies these Halloween stamps and I was published on their blog.......as well as on Facebook with a gift certificate for some new stamps!!! Wahoooo I'm doing the happy dance!

Another Sneak Peek...........

Well here we are again with a peek at another swap that I did, I stamped out the background and painted it with Twinkling H2O's ........well that's all I'm gonna say for now.  So I'm gonna leave you in suspense for awhile as to what it is.  HINT: 3-D

Welcoming in Autumn

This morning's temperature was 25 degree's and the leaves on the trees have been turning & dropping fast for their winter's slumber, I so am not ready for this as we had a yucky rainy summer!  Anchorage Alaska actually had a dusting of snow........oh that's a bad word!!!
This card was done for a out of state swap that is ending......kind of like farewell cards, can you tell I'm in the Autumn mode???  LOL pretty simple cards, stamping around the edges with the same stamp using 3 different ink colors & make a OSW for the squares

Halloween Sneak Peek ..........

Just thought I'd stop in for a few minutes to let ya'll get a sneak peek of what's to come on another card that I did for a  swap.......love this little face!

Let yourself play

Hey there! Here's another Swap card that I made from the images that were swapped out last month....Just love this image as I don't have enough images to do guy cards, tho I sent it to a group member and I know she'll find a good use for it.......LOL

I went to a Make it-Take it yesterday at our local Scrapaholic's store.....every Wednesday they have make it-take its and we made this box with 4 drawers, where you untie the bow it opens to a sentiment inside of the card.

It was really fun making this as I just love the Magnolia stamps and she's one that I don't have yet!! LOL

Off to the Beach

Here's another card that I did for a swap......the image (little girl) was sent to me and I stamped the background. She looked like she'd just belong in a beach scene, the saying on the tape runner at the bottom is unknown company....sorry

How to Make Your Own Twinkling H2O Watercolor Paint

Its Official .......I've become my mother!

LOL love this card image.........well I bit off a larger chunk of the pie this month, joining in several swaps on 2 different Yahoo Groups. So here's the first card, last month I hosted a image swap and this month you are to use one of the images that you got in your 10 image swaps......I thought this one was going to be hard for me but I always slam the hard one's out first to get it over with. Not that my mom would be caught dead wearing a dress like this, but I was kind of thinking of Halloween colors here........LOL

You Whoo!!!

I did this card for the Ladies Card Guild, easy peasy to make. Tho it was pretty low turn-out some were sick, on vacation or whatever we only had a total of 4 peeps show up. We did have fun making the cards, then luncheon and played a couple rounds of dice.....LOL

Blowing Kisses Decorative Edge

Here's the final card that I did for a yahoo group swap ......tho I didn't hear back if it arrived, so I'm assuming that it was received. I just hate it when you don't get a reply of any kind saying that they have your art work in their hot little hands! This swap you were to use the Scor-Pal to make decorative edges, well let me tell you it looks easier than done........LOL Sorry but I'm just a little sour at times when peeps don't acknowledge that you sent something to them in the mail, guess my mother taught me better....LOL

Oriental Card

This is my Oriental Swap Card that I sent out, we had to make a card as well as send 3 stamped images used on the card. I finally used some of my Asian papers that I special ordered many many moons ago........LOL

Here's a Sneak Peek ..........

At some of the other cards that I've been working on for swaps on one of my Yahoo Groups, I used an array of stamps for these beauties
Keep posted for the up coming full sized cards, as these went out in the mail today winging their way to some lucky ladies! See you when my muse takes over again......LOL

How to make a texture plate

Homemade Textured Plate

This was shown on You tube and was also a challenge on one of my Yahoo Groups, so of course I had to give it a try........I cut mine out with the Cricut. (Mounted on cardstock & chip board backing) You could use a punch also to make this!

Now just run this thru your Cuttle bug......sandwich as follows

1. A plate, 2. mat, 3. cardstock, 4. emboss template, 5. mat, 6. shims, (I used a thin piece of chip board) 7. B plate

This is the embossed texture on cardstock highlighted with SU ink My card with the embossed cardstock.......I love how it turned out, gonna have to experiment with more cut out images
I did a different take on the dragon card also using the embossed textured images, tho I highlighted them using the bandanna technique on domino cardstock tiles.
Until till next we meet for some more Art to share!

Swap Card

This cute dragon card is part of a image swap that I did so I made this card to go along with it so that they would have an idea on how to use it.....did you notice that I use the new Sizzix Folder from SU ???

Another Puppy Card......LOL

This Misty Blue and she was the first of puppies that were born on 6-14-2010 .....her Human Mommie brought her to visit this last week and it was so fun to see how much she had grown!!
Let me tell you she is a total terror to her other companions in her new home as the owner says she's already twice their size....LOL
