Alaska's Snow & Stampscapes

We had a storm front come in and dump 4 inches of snow over night and 6 more inches of snow during the day.......oh and over 8 power outages that day!  Can you guess that it was wet heavy snow??  LOL  Well at this point it has been steadily snowing all day again and only 4 power outages....it's a good thing we have a couple wood stoves to keep the home front nice and toasty warm!  Snow Plow didn't make it to our back road till 10am the next day........ Yes I took the furry kids out to run and we played and got the sled out so we could bring in firewood, oh and we shoveled snow, chased the snow balls & got thoroughly wet with falling snow!  I wanted to take pictures but my camera needs batteries.....guess what I'll be getting when I make it to town next!!!

While on one of my trips up north working (driving bus) a couple weeks ago I had the chance to find a new (to me) Local Stamp Store in Palmer, Alaska........OMG what a find in a quaint little Shopping Mall.  She had some of the much sot after "Stampscapes" rubber stamps and I had fun browsing all the goodies...........well here's a sample of my playing with the stamps, tho I'm really not too happy with the coloring of the background tree's. (I used Prismacolor pencils)

Happy Stampin', Thanks for stopping by!
