Friendship means the world!

Hey there, here's the I finished  card I did yesterday but had to wait for the stickles glitter glue to dry.  I started out using the Framed Oval Scallop die-cut one in red and one in white, stamp your image in the center of the white cut-out.   I used a retired SU stamp set and with daubers I colored the bird, flowers and background then I wanted to have some sparkle so I spritzed it with Radiant Rains and then versa-marker the whole piece and cover with clear embossing powder.......stamp flourishes around the edges of main card stock, stamp sentiment and attach using the designer label punched black.  Adding glitter glue for that little extra pizazz.

Hello again .........I had some left over cut card stock from my workshop and so I decide to play and revamp a new card out of the same design.  I used a couple punches on the bottom to add some pizazz, stamped some hanging herbs inside with a trowel and gloves that you can't see.......oh darn I can't get a scan of the inside card, cause I already got it sealed and in a envelope ready to send out for someone!

Greenhouse Gala Workshop Card & Hand Scrub

Here's another workshop card using the SU set "Herb Expressions" and Greenhouse Gala Designer Paper with the curly label punch for a window and stamped inside using the "Thyme"  herb.   The sentiment on the front of the card is from the same set.
I'm going to give the Ladies a real treat after making cards.......We are going to have a Mini Hand Spa!!!  I came across some very easy recipes for hand scrubs and I'll tell ya there is a lot on the internet, so I made a Lavender-Sugar Hand scrub using 3/4 ratio cane sugar to 1/4 ratio brown sugar, glycerin, corn huskers lotion, Lavender essential oil and mix well together until you have a paste consistency........ I added dried lavender also for color,  Now you can use this scrub as an all over body scrub also......your hands feel so smooth and polished!!  Okay now to finish the day for everyone we will dip our hands into a hot paraffin wax dip.......ohhh this feels soo good!!

Load of Hearts

I found this image that I'd already stamped out, so she was pleading to be colored and decorated for a card....LOL   I added the stamped hearts from SU "Loads of Love accessories" to her wheel barrow.   I've added my card to "Alota Rubber Stamps" challenge.   Well as I'm posting this card tonite the temperature in town is -17 degrees with a wind of 5 mile an hour which just happens to make it feel like it's -29 degree..........BRRRRR are you cold just reading this??

Sketch Challenge

This is my take of a challenge sketch for Inkyfunstampers, and I have used SU retired designer papers to tell ya they all came from my scrap drawer except the main card stock which is a current color.  I used SU large heart punch, Nestibilities Label 1 die-cut and retired SU ribbon.  I think it needs a sentiment in the lower left corner .....what do ya think?

"Remember" File Folder Note Pad

I went to a friends house and taught her how to do a file folder note pad cover and I finally got mine finished tonite so that I could share with everyone..........I was looking for the right word that would fit on my cover, well I figure why do we write notes?  Duh we need to remember!  LOL

This is a picture of the inside........I forgot to add the clips & pen/pencil tho.  The words and brown flowers where cut on my Cri-cut using Chocolate Chip SU card stock.  Stamped flourish in the corner is SU called "Elements of Style"

Edwin on a Trek

Took the time to finish up a card today........I had to take a much needed break after doing some more re-organizing of my craft room for that past week now, I actually got to see the wood grain of my 8 ft table that I work on ......LOL   I now have a new 74inch by 48inch shelving unit with 5 shelves!  Yea!!  Doesn't it look like Edwin is having fun on biking trek, I for one would love to be in a warm climate with temperatures anywhere above the 20 degrees that we have been having the last couple weeks.

Another Folder with Pad

Hello and I hope your week is going good for you..........I had some ME tablets that are 4x8 (that I picked up at Michael's craft store in one of my travels) and decided that I would make another file folder using it, the paper that I used is Kaiser Craft and I just love the flourishes on this paper!

Believe it or not I was able to get away using a single 12 x12 piece for the front and the 2 lower panel on my project and  I chose standard sheet of card stock a magenta colored textured card stock for the rest add your little circle of velcro and..........Ta Da you got a snazzy looking gift!

Take Note

Hey there hope you had a wonderful time celebrating the New Year coming in.........this is a file folder kit that I got at the Local Scrap Booking Store awhile back, that I finally got a chance to do after the holidays.
This is a look at the inside...........now I must tell you that I have changed the designer paper that came with the kit, because the papers in the kit just wasn't to my liking or just wasn't me.....I'm thinking of doing a few more of these in different colors for gifts
