Designer Paper Photo Wallet

Hey there, it's been a few days that I posted any thing but I've been busy working on this photo wallet....I'll be giving some classes on how to make them, one in March and one in AprilThis is the outside with 4 places that you can tuck your tags or photos.

This actually is the inside of the wallet with 2 pockets.,
I used SU Greenhouse Gala designer paper, Pumpkin Pie and Whisper White card stock
These are the 6 tags that I made to tuck inside some of the pockets

Better with Age!

Well I took yesterday off and went down to Ninilchik with a friend for an all day of  Scrap Booking/Card making ......we had lots of fun, laughs, visiting and a scrumptious lunch with an awesome view of the inlet Mountains. (Oh Mt.Redoubt the Volcano was steaming again)   So on to my card it was a borrowed image & sentiment, when I got home I thought it still needed more to it.... so I used SU retired set for drinking glasses adding just a little touch of sparkle to the glasses.  Now I couldn't find a bottle image so I hand drew that larger bottle to the right......Loved the image it was fun seeing it come to life!  LOL

Black & White Photo Wallet

I was surfing the web the other day and came across this Photo Wallet that someone did and I really liked it but, it had no instructions for making one..........well I spend a few more days on my search, finally came across more videos with the wallets
Low and behold my searching paid off after several videos later on You Tube......Stamping Holly has the instructions!!

Believe it or not, it's made with one 12 x 12 sheet of designer paper SU flower punch to make the tabs on the inserts.........which by the way has a total of (8) usable pockets.  I think I should give a class on this .......what do ya think?  LOL

Daisy Sketch Challenge

Hello again I told you I was on a roll.......LOL  Daisy here is a Elizabeth Bell image that I haven't used in like forever and she was sitting around feeling a little lonely.  So I paired her with some fun nestabilities layered then embossed with wonderful glittery stack paper, ribbon and colorful flowers. My card today is for a yahoo group sketch challenge, you can see the sketch below -----Hope you enjoy the sketch maybe it will inspire you to make one too.

Sweet Pea Nature of Art

Wow I'm so proud of myself.......with all the cards that I've been getting done lately!  LOL   When I saw on Cindy's Blog one of my blogging sisters she had a wonderful card with this sketch so I wanted to give it a try, and here is what I came up with using one of my favorite artist from Sweet Pea Stamps.  After working on my card I wanted something in the lower left corner, well it took me awhile to figure out what I wanted to put there......well duh there are butterflies with the main image why not use that to add to the card so finally decided on a TAC Butterfly with added sparkle using a Sakura Gelly Roll Pen

Out for Publication~~~Angel Bears Sketch Challenge @ SSCC

I couldn't wait to get my new Bildmalarna stamps.   I fell in love with these little angel bears when I saw them, and couldn't resist ordering them but they just happened to be a CHA pre-order so I had to wait longer than usual. Oh the rustic water pump reminded me of the one that we would use (and fight over as kids just to see who could get the most water out with one pump) when we went to a family friends house eons ago.

Spring Sugar Nellie & Design Credit

Hello wanted to thank everyone for the wonderful compliments on my Handmade book and let you know where you can find the instructions and give credit to the generous Lady who came up with this design, so if you were to go here you'll find her classes for the books............Now on to my card I wanted to do something with a Spring Flair because it really is looking that way finally here in Alaska.....though the temperatures at night are still pretty cold (in the teens)and the day temps are getting above 32!!!  LOL  This image I used is the first time I've made a card with it, seems to be a larger than normal for the "Sugars"  though I really like how it turned out with all the wonderful color for Spring.

Handmade Paper Bag Book

Hello there, I've been working on my project for 3 days and finally got it finished...this is one of the last page in it....as you can see that I have a pull-out pocket with a flower embellished circle tab and one of the few stamped images of flourishes

More pages with tabs that have pockets using the label punch from Stampin'Up!    Did you notice that I have side tabs as well as upper tabs for hidden pocket?

The pages with dotted pink are the only pages that I added some embossed black sentiments to them, here you see the lined page on the inner part of the pull-out tab page

The Front of my book.......gorgeous paper I found and the rose is idea is from a sister blogger and she got it from a video that I watched from here and I'm giving credit to Valita for her wonderful videos!       Tho one thing I did different was use decorative scallop scissors to cut my center scallop to add more dimension to the center of the flower.

Here's a close up of my rose the paper that I used was rather thick and kind of hard to mold but I got it all together........I hope you take the time to watch Valita's video using the Stampin'Up! punches....  I am also entering this to a challenge for The Crafty Pad

Thanks for coming by for a look see, I so enjoying hearing from you!

Revamped Tag

Hey there you'll notice that my tag is a bit different I just wasn't happy with it, so I changed it a bit with a silk flower a dash of stickles for that little sparkle then added the same button over the green leaf button..........now I feel better about it!  LOL  ....Aren't we are own worst critic???

Art Tags

Hello, I've busy making some fun Art Tags, some of these are for a swap going on one of my yahoo groups.  The light blue seaside tag is from a old, old retired SU set that I got at a co-op store in Anchorage.........it doesn't even have a year on it.  I stamped the image on the tag with staz-on, stippled on some SU Marina Mist, brushed on some PPA (perfect paper adhesive)  layered it with a napkin..........and scrunched it a bit and sprinkled some crystal effectz glitter for sparkle and let it dry.  Lastly going over the tag one more time with PPA to finish it off! The darker blue Tag I clear embossed it, went over with SU Pacific Point ink, sprayed it with Radiant Rains for some added sparkly glimmer then topped it off with some buttons. The red Tag was done the same way using a napkin but I painted it red first and let it dry before putting the stamped Tilda and then I brushed on a layer of PPA.  Yes it works with Copic Markers......no bleeding of colors or anything!
