Guest Designer at Digital Delights

Hello Everyone, I wanted to share with you today a Step card that I made using the instructions from the Technique Junkies CD, I was honored to be chosen as one of the Guest Designers at Digital Delights....So my card is using their Mermaid and the sentiment.

My little mermaid is colored with Copic markers, she has a little sparkle to her necklace with stickles

This is the side view so you get a better idea of how it looks, the lower part of my step card is adorn with a SU retired wheel that I also colored with copic's the spritzed it with Radiant Rains, I popped the fish on the end with a dimensional sticky, the greenery is done with the Cri-cut.  I'm entering my card with The Paper Players, and Crazy 4 Challenges

Hope you enjoy stopping by to see what I've been making!

Another Sketch Challenge

Well I wanted to give it another try making a regular size card using the sketch at Come and Get It......this time I went rummaging through my pink and black scrap drawers to make up this card.  The image was already stamped and colored, so it was easy peasy to put together!

Tag with Pocket Holder~Swap

Hello again just had to share this with you before I send it off in the mail to my swap partner........first off I made my tag that goes inside and measured the holder for size and used a embossed folder from SU

I stamped the image, colored, stipple the background and mounted on the green card stock tag with ribbon for a finish

Sentiment is from SU and the coloring on the front of the holder is Luminart' paint pots which gives a little sparkle

Isn't she cute

CGI Color Challenge

This weeks Challenge at Come and Get It is a color challenge that Julie one of our Design Team Members picked......So she wanted the colors for spring and they are "Olive Green, Peach and Light Green"
Okay now on to the my card, I started out with a mask first for the back ground and using a sponge to apply the ink.  Leaves and flowers are from SU punches as well as the center of the flowers using  half pearls.....I used a stylus to round/cup the flower the shape that they are making them a 3-D effect.
I stamped out the image of my butterfly and then added some sparkle to the edges and attached it using a little bit of foam dot
So here's a closer view of my flowers which are made from the Boho Blossoms punch, with that said these are the Challenges that I'm entering for: Copic Musketeers, Shannon's Sentiments and Papertake
Thanks so much for stopping by, comments are welcome anytime!

Happy Mother's Day and CGI Challenge

This weeks theme for "Come and Get It Challenges" is Birthday as we are having a few birthdays with Design Team Members, ......I started out actually making the flowers first.  These flowers are handmade each petal is punched out and distressed with ink then put together ........adding a touch of sparkle on the main flower.

I added a doily for the background which I stippled a little blue color on it and then cut the "Happy Birthday" out on the Cri-cut at 1- 3/4 size then distressing the letters so they would show up just a tab better on the card.  So with that said I'd like to enter my card in a few challenges at ........EllephantasticOne Stop Craft , Cards for men  and SSCC

Just a close-up of the flowers........I actually got a paint brush and painted on stickles to the edges of the petals, I'm having so much fun making these flowers!!
