Halloween Easel

Hello again, My card is for the Challenge at Come and Get It we are challenging you this week to make a Easel Card
When I was making my card I was showing a lady how to make her own background, so that's how my card came about.....using some of my coveted stamps from Third Coast Stamps the  Frightful Flight kitty cat (MY-095-I ) and love the sparkle that I got using the Solar Gold Radiant Rains spray
Had a few left-over die-cuts from the year before so it worked perfect for my card with the punched leaves!

Side view of the card, just to show you how it sits and how the dimensions pop out the Hooty Owl (MY-007-B Third Coast Stamps) The leaves actually hold it in place on the bottom
I'd like to submit my card to these challenges:
Pile it on #39~Fancy Folds
One Stop Craft #150~Easel
Send A Smile 4 kids ~Halloween
Penny's Paper-Crafty #62~Fall
Thanks so much for taking the time to drop by!

Time for a Sketch!

Here's the sketch that were challenging you to come up with a card, tag, scrapbook page or anything that your creative muse decides...so head on over to the Challenges at Come and Get It
I started out with a stamp from Third Coast Stamp called "Sidonie's Secret" item FT-196-J you'll find it here

Colored with Copic Markers, distressed the circle edges, mounted on scallop die-cut and layered on SU Lace ribbon border punched in Taken with Teal card stock that's covered with olive lace bias tape.
Designer background paper is retired, the butterflies are  punch out in Old Olive card stock then adding just a little sparkle with green glitter glue on all 3 butterflies.

Thanks for taking the time to stop in!

Gently Falling

Wow can you believe that Fall is right around the corner......The leaves at my house are turning colors and dropping already!  This weeks Color Challenge over at "Come and Get It" is using Red, Brown and Orange.

I started out with the Top Note die-cut from Stampin'Up! and leaf stamps called "Gently Falling" (which is in the new Holiday Mini Catalog) so many possibilities for this set!
The sentiment is also SU which just happens to be a Hostess set called "Faith in Nature" thought it would go perfectly with the falling gently card.......Be sure to stop by and check out the Design Teams Blogs to see their awesome cards!
