Wisteria Heart
Lots of layering going on with this card as you can tell but the special part is the torn distressed light purple that matches the rose is actually some homemade paper that I did with a friend a few years back..........I just might have to send this card to her!

I topped the organza ribbon with a distressed  rose and added purple stickles

The sparkle side of the wisteria heart is as close as I could come to purple in my limited stash of embossing powders but it worked beautifully on the white swirled card stock, the sea foam white works perfect on the purple card stock.

Thanks for stopping in ...........Oh last day to sign up for the Blog Give away is Wednesday!

Feburary's CGI Sketch Challenge

Hello this week I'm hosting the challenge at Come and Get It and this is the sketch that I would like everyone to use for their projects.......now you can flip it, rotate it any way you want as long as your using the sketch to join us this week.
So on to my card ............
I distressed my card a bit, first using Stampin'Up! Smooch Spritz ~Log Cabin~ on my designer paper then added the fancy punched edge strip which was distressed with brown ink and highlighted with gold Lumiere paint.  Next adding a strip of designer paper with the Sweet Pea image and lastly the yummy flowers.....the mini rose came from Stamping and Scrapping

You can't see in the picture but her jewelery is sparkly using sakura gel pen.

The pink flowers were distressed with brown ink and adding a bit of the gel pen for sparkle too.

February Color Challenge

A Grand Hello to everyone..............over at Come and Get It Challenges we are being sponsored by Bugaboo Digital Stamps!
I've chose to use "Deacon Cupid" and wowzer what an adorable little cupid he makes and doesn't he just make you want to smile!
For this challenge we also are to use the colors Red, White and Pink for our color theme.

So on to my card, I've used the new heart framelits dies and word sentiment is from SU

I found some gold textured paper in my stash to highlight the gold that I colored the little deacon cupid and that die-cut of hearts I cut using text weight paper from Paper Temptress

So here's a close up shot showing the sparkle on his angel wing and the sparkle on the heart arrows as well as this hair........well since he's an angel he needed to stand out!  LOL

Thanks for coming by and I hope that you join us for the challenge at Come and Get It

February Theme= LOVE

This week over at Come and Get It Challenges the theme is love...........So I finally got a chance to use one of my LOTV stamps that I got recently, which just happens to be called "Teddy Flower"

I colored the little teddy bear image and cut him out so I could adhere him later to the card stock.  Designer Paper was stamped with evergreen bough distressed ink using Grunge corner from LOTV.
Place the swirly hearts die-cut on base of DP (I had to use a text weight paper because the die-cut doesn't work with heavier weight card stock
Attach Teddy to card stock and add hearts from die-cut.
Layer with Regal Rose card stock onto card base of Cherry Cobbler

Here's teddy with his little letter of love to his sweetie!

Love in cherry cobbler red was cut out on the Cri-cut at 1-1/2 size on the dial

Here's a little better shot of the die-cut........from Memory Box
