Carousel Fairy Panda

I came across a template for a pop-up card and decide to revamp it a bit to make a Gazebo for this cute Carousel Fairy Panda rubber stamp from Third Coast Rubber Stamps ........well my imagination ran a little wild with this one....LOL

Carousel Panda Fairy PR-005-P
Flourishes are cut on the Cri-cut, scallop edges on top is EK punch, lace is from my stash, (Yes there is lace on it too if you look really hard for it.....LOL) roses are unknown source and the roof in done with a leaf punch from McGill
The next photo gives you a better shot of the roof and all those little leaves that I punched out and glue on
Now doesn't this make you want to go check out the cool  stamps at Third Coast Rubber Stamps?

Center Step Challenge

Hello again, hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday......I have loved having 4 days off to just chill and be thankful for everything that I have!

This week at Come and Get It the Challenge is to make a Center Step card.  My card this week is featuring images from a CD that I got free (who doesn't love free....LOL ) with the purchase of a magazine called Quick Card~made easy from the UK.

I'm such an animal lover I couldn't resist the cute images, the tree's on the sides are cut with the Cri-cut, filled the cut out spaces in with white liquid acrylic then icicle Stickles on top.
All the sparkling stuff is Mica Flakes from SU  .......I'll tell ya these are so easy to use!

Yep this is a SU sentiment also!
Instructions for making the Center Step card can be found at Splitcoast Stamper here

I'd like to enter my card this week to these challenges

Thanksgiving Wishes to You!

Just wanted to make sure that I got a post in today wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving ..........as if your in the United States we celebrate it in November, and yes I have lots to be thankful for!

Nope didn't have turkey today, dinner was bake ham, rolls, broccoli salad, wild rice and green bean casserole (green beans were from my garden this summer).....Oh the Pumpkin Pie too!!  LOL..was a quite day spent with my hubby, and my furry kids (Desi, Harley and Kush Kitty)

LOTV Milly

It's another new week for challenges at Come and Get It and one of our Design Team Member has chosen this sketch to follow so come on by to join in for some fun!

So here's my card that I designed with the sketch above..........Thanks Leslie!
I just love the Lili of the Valley Stamps and this one featured is Milly at her winter window, she's mounted on a shapeabilities circle.  I wanted a little more texture to the Cherry Cobbler card stock  so I placed it in one of my A-2 folders (Petals-a-Plenty) then added the white shimmer card stock punched out photo corners

I knew that I wouldn't be happy without adding a little sparkle......LOL

So I added icicle stickles on her hat, cuff's and collar then yellow stickles for the shining star

The Cricut was a big help for the holly leaves and just the right amount of distressing
I wish to enter my card art into these challenges:

Embellishment BINGO Anyone?

This would be my very first post as a Design Team Member for Southern Girls Challenge!!

I chose to use one of the lovely stamps that I got from Third Coast Rubber Stamps called Sailor's Delight order number VB-276-L and can be found here oh and lots of wonderful fun stamps!
Sailor's Delight is colored in with Copic Markers and then sprayed with Radiant Rains Star Gazer for added sparkle that the green blue that you see on the picture of the card.

I wanted my Mermaids to look as natural as possible, if that is possible since who knows what they really look like........I love how their hair is flowing in the water.  Next I added glitter to the pink flowers in the water and then I coated it with versa-mark ink so I could dip it into clear embossing powder.

And to finish it off with mini half pearls on the frame, then attach the baker's twine adding my Anchor.

I'm pretty happy how the card turned out, just wish that scans would show more of the sparkle from the Radiant Rains.....if you have them or seen them you'll know what I'm talking about,  love these spray sparkling inks

Hope you enjoyed the art today and don't forget to join us at Southern Girls for the Challenge!
I'd like to enter my card into these Challenges........

It's Color Challenge Time!

Over at Come and Get It Challege's this week and we are using Navy, Pink/Rose, White or Vanilla colors.
I decided to use the Large Snowman from the Stampin'Up set "Snow Much Fun" for my card and layering it on the stamped  background "Christmas Collage" then punch 2 large snowflakes (SU) in blue and white to adhere to card stock add a rhinestone to center for a little bling!
Saying is from Snow Much Fun stamp set

Stamped Snowman that is cut-out and layered

Hints: when layering card stock punch the snowflake out of the blue before attaching it to the main card.......nobody see's it and your getting some extra use from your card stock this way!
This card is entered into the Stamping Boutique Challenge
Thanks so much for coming by, hope you enjoyed your time!

Brooding Bertryse

Bertyse is brooding over several different things.......oh my!
She'd like to wait for her knight in shining armor.  But her father has promised her to marry the Prince in the Highlands that has asked for her hand in marriage!
She says: How I wish that I could just disappear at times as I don't even know this Prince from the Highlands, how could my Father do this to me!!

So poor Bertryse is still brooding and dreaming her dream that is a wish her heart would like to make.

Autumn Blessing Gifts

These little goodies were made for the Challenge over at Come and Get It........The Challenge for the week is "Autumn Blessings"

They are also made with love for my Stampin'Up! Customers as little prizes if they brought a friend to the Workshop that I gave on Saturday afternoon!

I had SU cello bags and added a scrap of designer paper to cover the front so they couldn't see what was inside

Stamp on your cello bag topper, punch the edges, attach with twine and slip on your homemade tag.

Lastly add an embellishment and you have some sweet little Autumn Blessing Gifts!
I'm entering my goodies into these challenges:
