July Anything but a Card

Another Sunday means a new Challenge at Come and Get It, so this week we would like you to make anything your little heart desires ..........but there is a catch .........."NO Cards"

Anything but a Card week!
My Theme in the bathroom is Mermaids so I finally got a chance to do something with the  Mermaids that I got  awhile back........digital image is from "A day for Daisies" and the figurines are from a shop in Homer, AK.

This is a picture of what they looked like when I purchased them
This is the photo of them finished after painting with Lumiere Paints
Here's my little darling Mermaid in a Bowl, I added stickles to her lower body and fins for sparkle with a few gems in her hair.  Other stamps are Third Coast Rubber Stamps ~Coral
She turned out really cute with all the glitter on her body........you should see her in person!

I'd like to share with these challenges:
Papertake Weekly ~ Make your Own
Pile it On 31~ Cute as can be
Shopping Our Stash 61 ~ Something New (frame)
Just A Scrappin' 14 ~ Glitter & Shine
Crafty Catz 143 ~ All That Glitters
Thanks for coming by and the wonderful comments!

It is so cool to see where other crafters get there inspiration!

I absolutely love the tail on the mermaid in the fishbowl. It really adds something were it is all curled around.

Thanks for joining us as Just A Scrappin'.

Hey Shell...this is so nice. It has a vintage feel to it and yet still looks current. Well done.
