Woven Spiral Bowl

Harvest Basket

This month's challenge at 613 Avenue Create is.....
Any Thing Goes with an Optional Twist of Make a Container!

Come on over and check out
the Fabulous Creations from the Design Team!

So here's how this project came about, I was cruising the net
and this popped up on in my email from Pinterest
Love the idea when I saw it....I've added a finishing strip along
the top with a coordinating fabric

"Finished Woven Spiral Bowl"
7'" wide x 5" tall

Sewing on the coordinating fabric on the edges

Spiral all together pinned with small binder clips

I checked out a few other places and ended up finding the pattern on Etsy also
The pattern is very easy to read and it has the spiral pattern included
that you need to trace on freezer paper and cut out

You will need double sided fusible interfacing (I used Pellon heavy weight)
2 coordinating Fabric's
Freezer paper or Teflon ironing sheet (which I used)
Binder Clips, Needle & Thread....oh and sewing machine to do
the zigzag stitch around the spirals edges
For my finishing strip I cut a 2 inch strip and hemmed both edges
Optional ~ Buttons

LOL I have to tell you this one is Husband Approved!!

Here's the Video to show you how it's done!
