Here on the Kenai Peninsula we've had some seasonally warm weather reaching up to the 40's lately and everyone has been enjoying it!  The snow is melting rather quickly and disappearing

Come And Get It Challenge ~ Anything Goes with a Twist

Good Day!

Well it will be once the sunrises anyway here in Alaska which will be around 9:30am and it will set around 4:15pm, so that doesn't leave you much visible time to play.....that's actually less than 6 hours!

We did get some more snow flurries yesterday so more shoveling of that white stuff.

This week at Come And Get It Challenges I'm hosting and I picked Anything Goes with a Twist, You have to use a Digital Image.

Birthday Wishes ~ Come And Get It Challenge

Good Day!

Hey it's getting nippy out there in the mornings now, I had a hard frost on my vehicle windows so winter is on the way......what happened to Fall?.  That dreaded white stuff was reported in Eagle River with 5 inches of snow and that's only about 400 miles North of the Kenai Peninsula

OSAAT Christmas Rooftop #174

Good Day!

Life has been busy in Alaska, we had an awesome Thunder & Lighting storm Thursday night, my dogs didn't think so LOL I had my window open and fan going in the room and it woke me up at 11:45pm so of course I could sleep.  I ended up getting up to close all the windows before the rain started, went back to bed to read a book and wouldn't you know I lost power!  

We don't normally get these kind of storms on the Kenai Peninsula

OMG I'm so late with my post for the new challenge at Southern Girls, I sure hope my team mates forgive me!

Time sure got away with me since I had to work late on Wednesday, we had our annual celebration of opening the fishing net at the beach and I didn't get home til after 10:00pm.  

We all had a grand time with the drummers circle, 2 Russian Orthodox Priest came to bless the land, oh and lots of visiting with a wonderful pot luck.

So here's my scrap page it's small in size and only measures 7 x 7

Little Winter Fairy~CGI Color Challenge

Good Morning and welcome I have a card for Come And Get It Challenges today and the design team ladies are using Blues.......as in light and dark blue with white. See colors for challenge below

Here in Alaska we are still waiting on the snow to come, though it has been cold and really starting to dip in to some frigid temps......so I thought that the little winter fairy  was perfect for our cold weather and the challenge too!  My little fairy is a Mo Manning digital image which is long retired.

 I used stamps from LOTV called "On Tip Toe" and also one of their Grunge background stamps which was inked up with SU Blush Blossom so it is really faint an blends in a lot!

I got to try out a new product to me called Paper Pen by Viva Decor that I made my own little pearls using the Opal color......love the effects tho the down side is they take 3-4 hours to dry!

A & T Challenges #12 Sketch

It's that time again for a new challenge over at A & T Challenge Blog

This round I've had the pleasure of using Isabella, she's sitting on a stump which also is one of the digital images that you can get over at the Emerald Faeries Shop and you can find them here!

Isabella is such a cutie pie, I cut-out both digital images and layered on CM designer paper the sketch called for a doily.....wouldn't you know it none to be found so I went with a Marianne die cut which is nearly 5 1/2 inches wide, adding flowers & lace with a final touch of that lovely glitter glue that we all love......stickles!
