Where we take full advantage of our summers since they are so short lived.....LOL I picked some more cucumbers today and made a Greek Salad with them, yummy for the tummy!

Lots of yellow crookneck squash coming on now, hope to harvest some soon and been pulling kohlrabi and added that to the salad too.

Christmas Gift & Tag

Happy Wintery Day To You!

Well I've finally got my first crown and it's not fun going thru all that pain especially when it happens to be a rear molar......all's good now and it's healing!

Thankfully I have been home, because the weather has been really nasty with continued freezing rain expecting more to come and top that off we have heavy fog too!. I'm hopeful that we might get some snow, as come friday that's what's expected for the extended forecast.

Today's project I'm gonna show you is a recycled Starbucks bottle that I filled with homemade Lavender Spa Bath Salts with a decorated Tag

Digital images are Emerald Fairies that are fussy cut, colored with Copic Markers & Stickles on their little wings

Small ticket is from one of Tim Holtz's Stamp Collections & topped with a poinsettia from Wild Orchid Flowers

Topped off with a 3D sticker, now don't you think this be a fun gift to give!

OSAAT Challenge #191

Good Morning

We sure have been having some really strange weather, first it warms up then gets cold with some horrid winds and blowing snow on the bluffs (which makes -degree wind chill factors) Then to top that off Friday about 11:30 we lost power ......ended up being for the whole Kenai Peninsula, just about up to Anchorage. I think it was something to do with a Transformer.

Here's wishing everyone has a safe and plentiful Thankgiving!

We had a weather front come in from Russia and we are getting freezing rain now ......pretty slick roads! Freezing Rain Advisory for Anchorage and the Matanuska Valley. Channel 2 News Team say's we've seen the roads are very slick and traffic is moving slowly.....allow extra time and give yourself extra space to stop!

OSAAT #184 Challenge ~ Indian Summer

Good Morning!

What fabulous fall days we have been having lately, and boy have I been taking advantage of them! Harvesting my crops that were planted in the spring! We worked on the dog yard enlarging it today got all the fencing up and now have to shore the edges so that my Houdini dogs can't escape! I'm one tired Lady with moving fencing, posts and tools of distruction......used some muscles I forgot I had!

Good Day!

Temperatures have been dropping every day now....it was only 46 degree's when I got up this AM at 5:30, our leaves are turning fast and dropping with the colder nights.

Glorious sunny days lately are welcome now, especially since Fairbanks & Delta Junction have had SNOW already!

So now onto the fun card I created for the Southern Girls Challenge

I had the fun of picking out the images this round to use for the challenge and I'm using Windy Day Margo from Rhoda's Designs Studio with some new die-cuts from Marianne Designs
