Men, Boys~ Masculine Theme Challenge

Hello again, we have a new Challenge up at Come and Get It

I have been experimenting with colors when I created this card .....and why you asked?  For the fun of it!!

I pulled out my newest Tim Holtz Book Compendium of Curiosities Volume II, So playing with ink daubers and water after embossing one of my favorite sea side images, I kind of sort of  followed the "Blended Stains" on page 45 of the book.
1. Emboss image
2. Water surface completely
3. Apply inks in various colors
4. While drying with heat gun, spritz water to get mottled effect

Well I had fun creating this wonderful effect for the sky and background and I'm hooked and ready to delve into more of my book and experiment with a little help from Timmy!

Travel Stories for "Just keep on Creating" reminds me of the time that I moved myself, 2 young boys and a half grown rottweiler puppy to Alaska over 20 odd years ago!   We spent 2 days traveling on the Marine Highway Ferry seeing lots of villages that would of looked exactly like the card I made today........hence it being one of my favorite images to stamp out.

I'd like to share with these challenges:
Aud Sentimenst~ Anything Goes
Crafty Cardmaker~ For the Boys/Male Theme
Creative Crafts~ Anything Goes
Totally Stampalicious~ Masculine
Just keep on Creating~ Anything Goes/ Travel Stories
Scrap-Creations~ It's a Boy thing!
Cute Card Thursday~ One for the Boys!

Thanks for dropping by this week!
