Alaska Friends.......

Are moving out of state so I did a couple of Deco pages that will be going in a specially made book for the each of them.
We will truly miss them both, but I know the medical care for her daughter is lots better and closer for them should they need it!

Added pages for Book Swap

I had to add a couple pages because I didn't have 6 stamped images on my pages so ....... Judy will get a bonus in her book!
Hope she has gotten it by now in the mail, and she's enjoying her Winter Themed book as much as I had putting it together!

Stampin'Up! Deco Page

I really need to get my PSP program loaded back onto my computer so I can make a sharper image of the photos that I take..........anyway this is stamped with a retired stamp set but by far one of my favorites. Flowers was the theme for this book and I had fun making this for Mary Kay, she was the local stamp store owner until she closed shop .....we all sure miss her!

Deco Page

I'm on a local deco list here in town and Dody themed her book "Wild Side" ........LOL .......She so loves her kitties too! I just couldn't resist using this kitty, with him being so bad snorkling in the fishbowl.......the fish are SU and are painted with Twinkling H2O's.

Angel Deco

Searching I finally found a Angel stamp that I liked for my page in Julie's Deco Book. I used Radiant Rains for painting in the purple flowers & Green vines, Prisma Colored pencils, SU markers, and stickles on her wings for sparkle. For the life of me I can't remember who the angel stamp is from?

Deco's for local Group

This first Deco is made entirely of Die-cuts from the Cricut cartridge "Walk in my Garden"

This Deco was done with the Technique Junkie's "Newprint Reveal" technique......I had fun playin' with this one!

Deco for SA

This Deco is for Linda on our local deco group here on the Kenai Peninsula.........the theme she picked for her book is "Birds" and this is my page in her book.
Just got it finished tonite and hope she likes it!

More Decos finished

This first Deco is for Dody in our local group her theme is Snowmen, so simple! 1. Snowmen is from TAC 2. SU markers used to color in images 3. SU Crystal Effects used on the buttons & hearts 4. Stamp stacks is the designer paper This next Deco is for Lee another local groupie.......LOL Lee's theme is flowers 1. SU Water colore paper 2. Versa-Mark is used to stamp images 3. Gold embossing on images then using heat embosser 4. SU watercolor crayons used to color images 5. Over spray with Gold Radiant Rains 6. Punched out flowers in water color paper 7. Layer Yo Yo Yellow (SU) under water color paper to have flowers show through 8. Add colored brads in center of flowers 9. Layer onto designer paper I actually finished these on Saturday but forgot to post these so I hope you enjoy them, I know the Ladies will enjoy getting the books back soon. Deco for SA Group

Well I was playing again today and this is the results, I used Butterfly of Happiness & Garden Silhouettes (both retired)
This is a page for Mary K's book, she picked a theme of Butterflies
1. Cardstock :Whisper White, Sage Shadow, Basic Black and Textured Teal
2. Inks: Kiwi Kiss, Handsome Hunter, Brocade Blue and Versa-mark
3. Accessories: Photo Corner punch, Organdy Ribbon Certainly Celery (retired)
4. Stamp Butterfly images with Versa-Mark........heat with embossing gun
5. Randomly stamp bold flower swith versa-mark............heat with embossing gun
6. Stamp off butterfly image on to a post-it note to use for a mask and cut out
7. Cover one of the butterflies ........(this what they call masking)
8. With a Brayer cover entire page with Kiwi Kiss
9. Wipe off area of butterflies & flowers with tissues
10. Dry brush inside of butterflies with Brocade Blue
11. Stamp Silhouettes over bold flowers.........with mask in place on butterflies
12. Wipe ink off bold flowers
13. Color in main butterfly with SU marker Brocade Blue & Ballet Blue
14. Layer on textured cardstock, attach ribbon to desired area
15. Punch out 4 photo corners affix to corners
16. Stamp Sentiment and layer, attach as desired
Well I don't know how much art work I'll be getting done since school starts up again tomorrow Jan. 5
I'm gonna be pretty bushed with having 2 weeks off for vacation........Going to work in the dark here in Alaska it doesn't get light til around 9:30-10:00am and sun usually sets around 4:30pm, so it's dark when I get home and don't feel like doing much.
On a lighter note we are gaining by the minute of daylite now.........LOL

This deco page is all about Ladies and it's for Marian in our local Soldotna Group. 1. Background page believe it or not came in the mail as an advertisement, so I snagged to for a later date........ 2. Stamp of Ladies is unknown but one of my favorites 3. Inks: SU, Stazon, Ranger Distressed and Radiant Rains 4. Nestabilities was used on outside image of Lady 5. SU flowers & Pima paper flowers with Circle Ice Lilac Brads 6. SU die-cut leaves. 7. Deco Dog Connection

This Deco was sure easy to do it's for Maria of the SA Group, since I already had a subject to frame.........LOL this is Desi when I first got her 8 weeks old and weighting only 11 pounds! 1. SU Sage Shadow & Chocolate Chip cardstock 2. Penny Black acrylic stamps for doggies 3. Unknown pawprints & alphabet stamps ? 4. Another Deco

Hello again........seems like the only time I can get any Art work done is on the weekends! This Deco page was done for Marian Perrine her theme was Gents. 1. SU Ink & Markers used 2. SU Punch out a circle and use it to mask the moon for background 3. Stamp Collage of Man (Limitediton) 4. Stamp Tree's (Hero Arts) 5. SU Spiral Punch used for the top edge 6. Stamped word TRAVEL (Stamp unknown) and mounted with mounting foam 7. Layered on Designer paper Thanks for looking have a great week, oh Happy Stamping!

This Deco page is for Donna Swaby and the theme she picked was "Just the two of Us" 1. Stamp the girls {My Heart Stamps For You}with Basic Black and masked them 2. Stamp Litehouse {My Heart Stamps For You}with Basic Black 3. Stamp Birds {TAC} again using Basic Black 4. Color images with SU markers 5. Stipple background with Baja Breeze & Close to Cocoa 6. Layer with 2 different colors of Cardstock Edging on the page was done with Stampin'Up's new Edge Scallop Punch and Brads were added to corners after I used the ticket corner punch from SU Hope you have a great weekend, as I'm trying to get caught up on some things in the craftroom as well as the house...................Happy Stamping!

Deco for SA Group

This little jewel of a tag was for Maria Mooney's Tag Deco Book, her theme was Frosty Friends. 1. Snowman, The Angel Company- Heartsings 2. Butterfly, unknown unmounted 3. Trees & snowflakes in background, Stampin'Up-Trees Three 4. Verse, Stampin'Up- Trees Three 5. Designer paper, unknown 6. Snowflake Brads 7. Stampin Dimensionals, Stampin'Up I stamped off the Snowman and colored his carrot nose & scarf, outlined him in pale blue for dimension. Then stamped off the butterfly colored them in with Twinkling H2o's set a side to dry and cut them out. Stamp Trees on designer paper, stamp snowflakes with craft ink and embossed with clear embossing powder. Stamp verse and layered it on designer paper. I layed out all the images to make sure it fit on the tag, using dimensionals sticky tabs on the wings of the butterfly replaced each one and tape snowman over the wings. Adding snowflakes brads last on the edges of the verse. Hope you enjoy my SnowAngel he was fun bringing into life! .............LOL

Deco for SA Group

This Deco was done for Lee Sparlin for her book she has a theme of Japanese. 1. Judi Kins stamp of Dancing Kimono 2. Fans stamps, See-D's Asian Design, Chinese 3. Asian sign, A Stamp in the Hand 4. Designer paper......unknown I started with Whisper White cardstock, stamping with Versa-mark and embossed with Black Embossing Powder. Painted the Kimono with Twinkling H2O's and cut out the leaves with exacto knife to have background green come thru. Fans were painted with Ranger products (Radiant Rains) Asian sign was stamped on newspaper and layered on Black SU cardstock.

Nature's Bounty Deco

I did this for Julie's Deco book, the theme she picked is Nature and I didn't want to use forestry themed with animals...........so I found this pictue in a magazine and thought it would go great for her book!
I know she'll like it.........who wouldn't love the many kinds of berries!
1. Designer paper is unknown
2. Creamy Carmel cardstock is SU
3. Photo corners are from SU's punch and embossed with flourishes.

Fall Deco

This Deco page was done for Donna of the SA (Soldotna, Alaska) Group. The background was done as a OSW (one sheet wonder) from a class that I taught many months ago, I've just added a verse and some bling (fall leaves) Thanks for looking .........if you have question about the OSW email me!

NGS Art Deco

Well I finally got another Deco Book started, using my Bind-it-All that was my Birthday present to myself.......LOL ...........this is the front of book.
I really liked the Bandana Technique from TJunkies so much I did it on Book Board for a Deco Book, then I sprayed with "Radiant Rains" for added sparkle.
This is the back cover same thing but in reverse. SU Pumpkin Pie & Ruby Red Inks were used with daubers.
