Glitter Tag Swap

This was a fun tag to make that I sent off for my swap partner on one of my Yahoo Groups.......I started out with my basic tag made with SU card stock and covered it with PPA (Perfect Paper Adhesive) it's better than modge podge, then covered it with a Designer Napkin trimmed the edges, added another coat of PPA and sprinkled it with ultra fine glitter let it dry over night or dry with heat gun......WAH LA   Now you have a wonderfully done elegant tag!

I got carried away a little bit with my glitter....is that called heavy handed??  LOL  Oh well I hope that my partner likes glitter as much as I do!!

Tag with Pocket Holder~Swap

Hello again just had to share this with you before I send it off in the mail to my swap partner........first off I made my tag that goes inside and measured the holder for size and used a embossed folder from SU

I stamped the image, colored, stipple the background and mounted on the green card stock tag with ribbon for a finish

Sentiment is from SU and the coloring on the front of the holder is Luminart' paint pots which gives a little sparkle

Isn't she cute

~Fairy Swap Card~

Just one more of my swap cards, this one was for the theme of fairies, so I had to go through my unmounted rubber stamps to find one that would work......boy did I get side tracked stamping images that I haven't used in a long while.......LOL

Close-up of my fairy lady, she looks to be thinking about something really serious.......what do you think?

~Anything Goes Card Swap~

Well it's that time again and I've joined some swaps this month, I had stamped this image out awhile back and decided to finally use it on a card.......I was going through my blue scrap draw boy do I have a lot of scraps in it too....and came up with this card for my partner in the swap

This is just a closer look of the main image of the flower.

Eskimo Kisses

Well I got all my swaps done now with this card being the last one......it was themed "Using Acetate" I used the retired snowflake acetate from SU in this widow card tho you can't even see the snowflakes in the scan.  It took a bit to do this card I stamped & masked the images and colored it in with copic markers for the main card, attached the acetate to the inside of the cut-out (which was done with nestabilities)  then I got to work on the outside of the card......randomly stamped the trees, stamp greenery swap on upper part of the card and lastly stamp snowflakes all over the card.  I'm gonna also enter this for the challenge over at Stamp-n-doodle for the "Anything Goes Winter Challenge"

Beary Christmas Tag

Well I got another swap done, this Tag is themed "Christmas" .......I started out stamping the little bear & birdie, colored it with copic markers then I thought it needed some trees that the little birdie was flying from.....
(these are retired SU trees silhouettes) I wanted  some wispy wind streaks to spread the faint snowflakes that you can hardly see on the tag.....LOL don't you just love scans?  Anyway next I embossed it with some flourishes with white powder and then I distressed the whole tag, finishing it off with a holly sprig with berries.

Manly Stampscapes Card

Hello.....I posted the main art work on this card last month so you may remember it, well I finally got around to making a card with it......so I stamped the pine swag randomly for the background giving it a little more feel of a manly card....LOL then I dry brushed it in with Garden Green & Early Expresso which are SU Classic stamping dye inks.  Some lucky person will be getting this as a swap this month!

Vintage Tag

Hello again, I've done another tag for a swap and the theme for this is "Vintage"......so I stamped a lady, (unknown) masked her then used my SU Vintage Vogue  (tho I removed it from the wheel) Next I brushed in the green for the leaves flourish and red for the flower.  Oh you can barely see the butterfly up in the left corner it was brushed in with orange.  Then using the retired crushed curry to cover the tag and adding distressed vintage photo ink over the tag again......coloring in the Lady with copic markers, lastly to cover the tag with clear embossing powder.

Christmas Challenges

Well Hello, this is another swap card I finished today in the theme of Christmas and this stamped image is far from being a Christmas one but adding a homemade poinsettia which I made using the 5 petal flower SU punch (layer 2 red & one green flowers) and a tag with a sentiment on it sure can change a card to a simple Christmas theme.  I'm entering my card for a challenge too......  Crafty Catz Challenge # 60

Christmas Scrap Book Pages

I've been busy doing some swaps for Inkfunstampers, a Yahoo Group and this is a Christmas 2 page swap.  I used my Cri-cut for most of pages (the lettering and trees) until I was ready to do the ground covered snow then I cut the base ......pretty good for doing this freehand!  LOL

I will add my frames and some extra snowflakes to go along with the pages but will let the receiver put them where they would like to place them.......I thought these would make some fun snow day pages for the lucky person to get them!

Thanksgiving isn't just for the Birds!

I thought a little humor was needed for my Thanksgiving Tag Swap..........I just love this Turkey eating tuna outta the can!   My background on the tag was a Technique Junkies from a back issue that I hadn't gotten a chance to try, well I'll tell you I love it how the "Faux Velvet" turns out......gonna have to do more of them in different colors!

I'm also entering my tag for a challenge with:
* Stamp-n-doodle

Thanks for stopping by, hope you enjoy my latest project!

Warmest Wishes

Well I'm back again with another card for one of my swaps........your to make a "Christmas card  also sending 3 main images"   So this is my first Christmas card that I came up with later today after my cleaning spree, I did some Winter cleaning as we got our very first snow of in the middle of the night, my 5 month old Aussie puppy wasn't sure about it when I took him out a 4:30am this morning.......LOL
Thanks for stopping by for a look see, hope you enjoyed my card today!

Fall Tag Art

This is my Altered tag for the "Any Thing Goes Swap" that I did for one of my Yahoo Groups.....I used some over sized leaves that put 3 layers modge podge on, the background was a crackled stamp that I filled in with fall H2O's colors then adding my sentiment.

Have a great weekend and enjoy the fall colors & weather!

Another Sneak Peek...........

Well here we are again with a peek at another swap that I did, I stamped out the background and painted it with Twinkling H2O's ........well that's all I'm gonna say for now.  So I'm gonna leave you in suspense for awhile as to what it is.  HINT: 3-D

Welcoming in Autumn

This morning's temperature was 25 degree's and the leaves on the trees have been turning & dropping fast for their winter's slumber, I so am not ready for this as we had a yucky rainy summer!  Anchorage Alaska actually had a dusting of snow........oh that's a bad word!!!
This card was done for a out of state swap that is ending......kind of like farewell cards, can you tell I'm in the Autumn mode???  LOL pretty simple cards, stamping around the edges with the same stamp using 3 different ink colors & make a OSW for the squares
