CAGI ~ Recipe of Fun

Hello There!

Early this week I had the pleasure of escorting a couple of our Elders to a Native Elder/Youth Conference, there was some great key note speakers and I found it very informative and loved the workshops.  Cook Inlet Tribal Council has been collaborating with a E-Line Media in Seattle to make a video game "Never Alone"  See the preview on YouTube here  I was pretty excited about it!

Alaska is getting chilly now the last couple of day were in the 20's early in the morning, but today's morning temp was only 17 degree's we are expecting snow again by the latter part of the week and I suppose it will stick around

Okay that's enough chit chat so on to my card, Come And Get It Challenge is being sponsored by the  fabulous Lacy Sunshine & Oak Pond Creations, so come join us for our recipe challenge this week using Designer Paper, Die cuts, Ribbon and Bling

I've featured Lacy Sunshine's "Bride of Frankenstein Susie" in my Halloween Scene
Couldn't find a frightened pumpkin to go with my image so I ended up just drawing one this time

Lethann with Lute

The day was beautiful for Lethann, she was strolling in the lush gardens enjoying the serene mood when the wind suddenly kicked up and her veil went blowing just about ready to snag on the grape vines.
The sky was starting to darken in the distant horizon and Lethann knew it was time to head toward home before she was caught outside in the on coming storm.

Third Coast Rubber Stamps used:

Lethann with Lute FT-184-J
Grape Trellis FA-255-I

Third Coast Rubber Stamps can be found here

I first started with stamping Lethann and making a mask, then stamp image of Grape Vine.........color images and sponge in background, stamp extra grass and sponge color for ground.
Cut out with Spellbinders, layer with cut out that has been embossed using A2 folder, then layer on coordinating designer paper........mount on card stock.

LAILA’S LUTE

As soon as I saw this stamp image in the on line catalog at Third Coast Rubber Stamps I knew I had to get her.
The outfit that she's wearing is so feminine and she has so many possibilities.

I've featured Laila playing her lute by the partial wall stamp a couple times, die-cut with spellbinders added a small scrap of lace, some coordinating colored mini flowers and punched leaves

but something has caught her attention!  Oh what could it be, a favorite pet ........or is it another musician?

Third Coast Rubber Stamps used:
Laila’s Lute FT-192-I
Partial Brick Wall CH-715-I

Other supplies used:
Grass ~Judith Stamps
SU Card Stock and Dye Inks
Spellbinder Die-cut
Wild Orchid ~Roses
Leaves ~MS Punch
Scrap Lace
Copic Markers

You can find all these rubber stamps and more here

Have a creative day and go out and stamp something!

I'm late for a very important date!

I'm late, I'm late for a very important date!
So I loaded up the cat in the kettle side car, she clawing at the edges trying to hold on in fright as we are zipping on our way down and around the wooded path with the full moon shining bright..........

Now that I have started the story line for you, I bet you can imagine several different ending for this fun card!

Third Coast Rubber Stamps used for creating this card are:

Commuting Witch ~AP-478-J
Large Birch Trunks ~ CM-055-P

To see these and a complete selection of stunning stamps visit Third Coast Art Rubber Stamps here

Coloring was done with copic markers, and dye inks. I then finished the card with 2 layers of clear embossing for that glossy look, then layering it with SU card stock......designer paper was from my stash so it's unknown at this time.

Thanks for stopping in to see another Halloween scene!
