JACK-O-LANTERN EEK!

Moonlighting in the Grave Yard

Hello and Welcome back for some Spooky fun using
a TopFlight Cat Stamp!

I've had this wonderful Katzel Kraft stamped kitty cat hanging around
for a while all colored up ....click here for link to him and his buddies
and finally got a chance to create a scene for him

So I started with making the background but first cut out a circle
to place on the paper so it would stay white for later coloring
of the moon and adding some lovely dies
Did I tell you that he came all the way from France for a visit!!

Batty Halloween

Bat Crazy!

Can you tell I'm on a Halloween themed kick right now?
LOL
Don't you just love these cute little Bats!!
They are designed by Dustin Pike

I started making the background using Catherine Pooler inks
when I was happy with the coverage I spritzed it with a bit of water
and then sprinkled some Frantage Embossing Powder
then heating it on the underside as it tends to blow around some,
love how it creates a bit of a starry nite effect!

Next I stamped some grass in different areas,
placed the silhouette of the tree and fence.
The pumpkins with that little bat and the bat in the tree I
added dimensional foam to pop them a bit

I then cut out the MFT Stitched Die twice, once with Vellum
and another with orange card stock attaching both with brads
Oh and I added a bit of greenery for additional dimension

CAGI ~ Recipe of Fun

Hello There!

Early this week I had the pleasure of escorting a couple of our Elders to a Native Elder/Youth Conference, there was some great key note speakers and I found it very informative and loved the workshops.  Cook Inlet Tribal Council has been collaborating with a E-Line Media in Seattle to make a video game "Never Alone"  See the preview on YouTube here  I was pretty excited about it!

Alaska is getting chilly now the last couple of day were in the 20's early in the morning, but today's morning temp was only 17 degree's we are expecting snow again by the latter part of the week and I suppose it will stick around

Okay that's enough chit chat so on to my card, Come And Get It Challenge is being sponsored by the  fabulous Lacy Sunshine & Oak Pond Creations, so come join us for our recipe challenge this week using Designer Paper, Die cuts, Ribbon and Bling

I've featured Lacy Sunshine's "Bride of Frankenstein Susie" in my Halloween Scene
Couldn't find a frightened pumpkin to go with my image so I ended up just drawing one this time

.
.
.

.

See how easy the sketch is!

I'm still on a Halloween kick as you can see by the card I did, the witch showed up more as she crossed the moon until I sprayed the Radiant Rain ......I may have to do some more cards using the sketch as I'm not really happy about this one.

Wahoooooo I'm on a Roll...... I've done another card using the Bugaboo Digital Image, what a wonderful fun image and this goes along with the color challenge that Come and Get It has going on......you can check it out here!

I've use the M-Bossabilities leaf folder for the main card stock and dabbed a bit of brown on the raised leaves to bring them out a bit more
Love the ribbon with little leaves on it that I paired with brown card stock

Color Challenge

Hello Crafters!
It's that time again over at Come and Get It Challenges this week we are inviting you to play along with the colors ......."Brown, Orange, Yellow and Red"

This week for the challenge we are being sponsored by Bugaboo Digital Stamps
These colors that Cindy picked just screamed at me to do something Halloween so that's why I picked this particular image from Bugaboo.

I used Stampin'Up! retired Kaleidacolor stampin' pad "pumpkin patch" which has a spectrum of colors in Really Rust, Ruby Red, Only Orange, More Mustard and Old Olive.........I masked the moon (which was colored with Ranger ink mustard seeds) and brayered the spectrum ink colors onto the digital image.
I finally got to use the spider web punch that I forgot I had gotten last year, yeppers it was still wrapped in plastic!  LOL  The wicked spider stamp was in my stash of clear stamps.

HINT: Using 2 pop dots stacked together attach to spider, then take black marker to color the foam so the white doesn't show through.
