OSAAT #185 Winter Wonderland~ Tis the Season

Good Morning

Alaska is in the drench mode of raining, it must of rain all night........ the day I left the weather it was dry......LOL do you happen to remember that phrase?  If not you can find the whole song here
Just a folk song that you would of learned as a kid.

I'm playing again over at One Stitch At A Time Challenge and our  theme this week is "Winter Wonderland" please see the blog for all the details

I had the pleasure to use a digital image from Delicious Doodles called Lycaonia, I really loved working with this image and you can find it at StitchBear Digi Outlet here!

So I masked the image and stamped trees (Stampscape which are wonderful scene stamps) for the background, then I tried the Frantage technique with what I had in my stash on the designer paper edges for the sparkle and shine.

So I loaded up the cat in the kettle side car, she clawing at the edges trying to hold on in fright as we are zipping on our way down and around the wooded path with the full moon shining bright..........

Now that I have started the story line for you, I bet you can imagine several different ending for this fun card!

Coloring was done with copic markers, and dye inks. I then finished the card with 2 layers of clear embossing for that glossy look, then layering it with SU card stock......designer paper was from my stash so it's unknown at this time.

ATG Tag Swap

Well I dithered on what to do for my "Any Thing Goes" tag swap for a yahoo group Inkyfunstampers, so I ended up using my Stampscape stamps for a fun outdoor scene with the aurora borealis or the northern lights

Here's a little bit better view of my tag that will be making it's way to Pennsylvania to my swap partner.  I stamped it with versa-fine ink, dry brushed & dauber with SU dye ink, sprayed it with Radiant Rains and added 2 coats of clear embossing powder before I was finished with my tag.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Brayered Sails on Glossy White

Hello again, I thought I'd share the card that I did on glossy white embossing it with black just so you could see the difference on whisper white sprayed with Radiant Rain.........oh by the way it was called "Stargazer" ink. The spray ink kind of got some larger splotches making it look like a rainy cloudy day.

Thanks for stopping by!

Brayered Sails

Well it's been a few days since I was around, that's what happens when your mojo goes on vacation without you and boy would I of love to gone on a vacation!!!   LOL I needed to get a card done for the Ladies Card Guild,  So I thought how about something manly and I had this stamp that I bought ages ago that I'd never used.......and I really like it too!  Well I started out playing to see what I liked best, I brayered on Whisper white card stock and black embossed my image and found I really didn't like that much .....too splotchy looking, next I brayered on Glossy white and black embossed the image I really like how it turned out but I wanted something different (well I'll use it another day) so I was back to my first image........I spray it with Radiant Rain and loved it!!!  The splotchy parts were covered up with the sprayed rains and adds sparkle........I mounted it to retired card stock Yo Yo Yellow and Basic Black on card base of More Mustard.
