Art Tags

Hello, I've busy making some fun Art Tags, some of these are for a swap going on one of my yahoo groups.  The light blue seaside tag is from a old, old retired SU set that I got at a co-op store in Anchorage.........it doesn't even have a year on it.  I stamped the image on the tag with staz-on, stippled on some SU Marina Mist, brushed on some PPA (perfect paper adhesive)  layered it with a napkin..........and scrunched it a bit and sprinkled some crystal effectz glitter for sparkle and let it dry.  Lastly going over the tag one more time with PPA to finish it off! The darker blue Tag I clear embossed it, went over with SU Pacific Point ink, sprayed it with Radiant Rains for some added sparkly glimmer then topped it off with some buttons. The red Tag was done the same way using a napkin but I painted it red first and let it dry before putting the stamped Tilda and then I brushed on a layer of PPA.  Yes it works with Copic Markers......no bleeding of colors or anything!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Load of Hearts

I found this image that I'd already stamped out, so she was pleading to be colored and decorated for a card....LOL   I added the stamped hearts from SU "Loads of Love accessories" to her wheel barrow.   I've added my card to "Alota Rubber Stamps" challenge.   Well as I'm posting this card tonite the temperature in town is -17 degrees with a wind of 5 mile an hour which just happens to make it feel like it's -29 degree..........BRRRRR are you cold just reading this??

Thanks again for stopping by!

Recycled Christmas Gift Containers

Hello......I've been busy like everyone else rushing around getting ready for Christmas.  These are some last minute gift containers that I've saved through out the year and stashed for just this purpose of putting home made goodies inside!!  So first I made up a double batch of Chex Mix and fill these babies to the brim......and decorated with some fun designer paper adding these adorable stamped images of Hanglar Stanglar winter kids, lastly the sentiment is retired SU.  I have a dear friend Eva that lives in Sweden she purchased these for me last year and I finally got them stamped out, colored with copic markers.

Thanks for taking the time to stopping by!

Northern Lights

Just popping in to share with you one of the latest stamped items that I've finished up........the background sky stamp is a borrowed image "Northern Lights" from a dear friend Donna, she said for me play awhile with it since I'm having so much fun with the scenery stamps.   If you have done masking of any kind then you'll be able to do these too, I used a lot of different ways to add in my ink color. (dauber, brush & markers)  Finish the project off with 2 coats of clear embossing and mount on your desired card stock.  Sorry the scan is just a bit crooked.......but you get the idea.

Thanks for stopping by!

Beary Christmas Tag

Well I got another swap done, this Tag is themed "Christmas" .......I started out stamping the little bear & birdie, colored it with copic markers then I thought it needed some trees that the little birdie was flying from.....
(these are retired SU trees silhouettes) I wanted  some wispy wind streaks to spread the faint snowflakes that you can hardly see on the tag.....LOL don't you just love scans?  Anyway next I embossed it with some flourishes with white powder and then I distressed the whole tag, finishing it off with a holly sprig with berries.

Thanks for stopping by!

Vintage Tag

Hello again, I've done another tag for a swap and the theme for this is "Vintage"......so I stamped a lady, (unknown) masked her then used my SU Vintage Vogue  (tho I removed it from the wheel) Next I brushed in the green for the leaves flourish and red for the flower.  Oh you can barely see the butterfly up in the left corner it was brushed in with orange.  Then using the retired crushed curry to cover the tag and adding distressed vintage photo ink over the tag again......coloring in the Lady with copic markers, lastly to cover the tag with clear embossing powder.

Peace, Love & Joy

Another Christmas card done!  Tho I did have this one in mind for a couple Challenges, mostly using the sketch over at Magnolia Stamp Lovers and I have to tell ya I turned it a bit to work for my card as you can see below......I've added the sketch.  Do you recognize the tree behind Tilda...yes it's from SU "Solumn Stillness" tho it's retired anyway I stamped it in green then stamped with versa-mark on top of the tree & embossed with gold all done on a die-cut "Top Note" well since she's opening a present I figure she needed a tree......LOL  Other challenges I entered this card for is Alota Rubber Stamps

"Moon lite night"

Well I've been having fun with my Stampscapes rubber stamps, so here's another scene that I finished up today, this one I did direct to paper (which means: ink is directly put on the paper) with sponges, brushes and dauber sponges. Then I went back and colored the tree's with Copic markers and to finish my project off I did a light spray with Radiant Rains for a sparkling sheen & clear embossed the whole scenery. My finished project is 6" x 5"........I am so happy with how it turned out I might just frame it for a gift for Christmas!
Thanks for coming by to see what I've been doing!

Thanksgiving isn't just for the Birds!

I thought a little humor was needed for my Thanksgiving Tag Swap..........I just love this Turkey eating tuna outta the can!   My background on the tag was a Technique Junkies from a back issue that I hadn't gotten a chance to try, well I'll tell you I love it how the "Faux Velvet" turns out......gonna have to do more of them in different colors!

I'm also entering my tag for a challenge with:
* Stamp-n-doodle

Thanks for stopping by, hope you enjoy my latest project!

Warmest Wishes

Well I'm back again with another card for one of my swaps........your to make a "Christmas card  also sending 3 main images"   So this is my first Christmas card that I came up with later today after my cleaning spree, I did some Winter cleaning as we got our very first snow of in the middle of the night, my 5 month old Aussie puppy wasn't sure about it when I took him out a 4:30am this morning.......LOL
Thanks for stopping by for a look see, hope you enjoyed my card today!

Broom Tilda

Here's wishing you all a Happy Halloween with all the eerie screaming ghouls that may come in visit in the night!
I've kind of lost my mojo for crafting lately, I had colored this image a couple weeks ago but didn't do any thing with it so I was cruising blogs this morning and got inspired to finish it and make a card......You can't tell from the scan but I put sparkles on the spider webs and the  pumpkin.
This card is for these challenges:

Challenge "Recycled" Card

Well hello there!  For this card I've used a plastic cookie container (cookies all ready eaten...LOL)that you would get at the store to make the big leaf, I used alcohol ink on one side & stamped the leaf with Staz-on the other side cut it out and blasted it with the heat gun..........presto a shrinky dink!  Tho I have tried this with several kinds of plastic container not all work.  The background is using scrap strips of paper & glitter.

Pink Stamper Challenge & Swap

Let yourself play

Hey there! Here's another Swap card that I made from the images that were swapped out last month....Just love this image as I don't have enough images to do guy cards, tho I sent it to a group member and I know she'll find a good use for it.......LOL

I went to a Make it-Take it yesterday at our local Scrapaholic's store.....every Wednesday they have make it-take its and we made this box with 4 drawers, where you untie the bow it opens to a sentiment inside of the card.

It was really fun making this as I just love the Magnolia stamps and she's one that I don't have yet!! LOL

Off to the Beach

Here's another card that I did for a swap......the image (little girl) was sent to me and I stamped the background. She looked like she'd just belong in a beach scene, the saying on the tape runner at the bottom is unknown company....sorry
