A Rainy Hello from Alaska

You may of noticed that I've not been around for awhile, well let me fill you in on what's been going on lately.   As you may or may not know that I work as a Adult Case Manager for the Kenaitze Indian 

Tribe.  I help out approximately 20 of Elders and Vulnerable Adults each month, we have lost a few of them this year that worked with personally.

But the good news is that I had a bundle of joy come into our family (my first granddaughter baby Ava) then I lost my beloved father in-law.  So I really took a step back and took stock of my life to see what was really important to me so unfortunately my crafting has taken the back burner so to say.  

I will only be staying with YSBP as a designer for now.

Hello There!

Early this week I had the pleasure of escorting a couple of our Elders to a Native Elder/Youth Conference, there was some great key note speakers and I found it very informative and loved the workshops.  Cook Inlet Tribal Council has been collaborating with a E-Line Media in Seattle to make a video game "Never Alone"  See the preview on YouTube here  I was pretty excited about it!

Alaska is getting chilly now the last couple of day were in the 20's early in the morning, but today's morning temp was only 17 degree's we are expecting snow again by the latter part of the week and I suppose it will stick around
