Well Alaska has sure not gotten it's snow this year!
We've been exceptionally warm with rain and then temps turn cold and freezing that rain

Hello Again!

Good news is we've had some rain to help put out most of the fire here on the Kenai Peninsula, I took a ride and went up on Saturday to check on my son's house that was right close to the fire.  Looks like they did a back burn so that it wouldn't do anymore damage to the area.

Good Day!

Wowzer we had some powerful winds on the Kenai Peninsula this past week, over 3,000 folks without electricity, lots of trees downed along with that goes the power lines.....even on our road it was down to one lane with a tree over it when I went to work Friday morning.  No need to pay for sand blasting we were getting it all day with the winds!

Hey it's getting nippy out there in the mornings now, I had a hard frost on my vehicle windows so winter is on the way......what happened to Fall?.  That dreaded white stuff was reported in Eagle River with 5 inches of snow and that's only about 400 miles North of the Kenai Peninsula

We've been having lots of rain this August and I'm beginning to feel like a duck with web feet!  LOL I'm sure getting tired of it especially with 3 dogs that come in all wet and smelly ......but thank goodness they don't mind the bounce sheets!
