Southern Girls Challenge #40

Hello!  We have a new challenge up this week at Southern Girls and it's a time to use some Red, Blue and Yellow in your projects!  I had the pleasure of being able to use one of our sponsors digital stamps from DtsArt click on the picture to see more images!

So you can see here how my little fairy is just laying around in the spring flowers, oh bye the way her name is Lila May and  I think she's sooooooooo cute!  Thank you Dts Art for the image!

I wanted to do something different this round for the challenge, so I decide on making a treat box that I'll use for Easter to give someone special!

The light yellow spring flowers behind Lila May were cut with Memory Box Die-cuts, as well as the spray  with the larger bunch of blue roses.

Stickles were added to the roses to make them pop a bit more......

I stamped the extra fairy which is from Third Coast Stamps right on the designer paper that was in my stash and colored the flowers red.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Special News......My house was rockin' with excitement!

I am pleased to announce our Summer 2011 Design Team!  Congratulations, you made it!  We'll get started very soon.  Please stay tuned.  You can now tell anyone you want!

You fabulous stampers have bravely volunteered to be a part of the inaugural group.  I had over 60 applications, and it was just too hard to decide, so I added five more positions than I had originally intended.  Several other applicants will be offered a spot at being a Guest Designer for a month.  I appreciate all of the interest in Third Coast and our stamps.  Truly!

Kitty & Cat

Just received some new Halloween Stamps from Third Coast Stampers that are just adorable and this is one of the stamps that I got in............"Kitty & Cat" You probably already guessed that I used the Tim Holtz spider mask again, wasn't too sure about the old Halloween retired SU designer paper that I had but it worked out fine with the masking. Just been having too much fun with this mask for Halloween cards! I masked the Kitty girl image and sponged color all around her with a purple, then I knew that it needed a spider to go with the webbing. Happy Stampin' Y'all
