Greenhouse Gala Workshop Card & Hand Scrub

Here's another workshop card using the SU set "Herb Expressions" and Greenhouse Gala Designer Paper with the curly label punch for a window and stamped inside using the "Thyme"  herb.   The sentiment on the front of the card is from the same set.
I'm going to give the Ladies a real treat after making cards.......We are going to have a Mini Hand Spa!!!  I came across some very easy recipes for hand scrubs and I'll tell ya there is a lot on the internet, so I made a Lavender-Sugar Hand scrub using 3/4 ratio cane sugar to 1/4 ratio brown sugar, glycerin, corn huskers lotion, Lavender essential oil and mix well together until you have a paste consistency........ I added dried lavender also for color,  Now you can use this scrub as an all over body scrub also......your hands feel so smooth and polished!!  Okay now to finish the day for everyone we will dip our hands into a hot paraffin wax dip.......ohhh this feels soo good!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Simply Elegant Embossed Hearts

Hello, I've put together a card for one of my workshops coming up
......First off I used the jumbo wheel "I (love) love for the background
then I used one of the new Textured Impressions Embossing Folders
"Framed Tulips" punched out 2 hearts, run them through"Elegant Lines"
embossing folder and painted the embossed parts with shimmering
Frost White mounted them on the designer paper "Love letter"
& Basic Black and added some Crochet Trim "Chantilly"

I've added my card to "The Paper Variety" challenge....My Pink Stamper is the Sponsor this week.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Workshop Cards

Hello there! I wanted to share some of the cards that I did at a all day workshop that I attended. It was from 10:00am until 10:00pm...........lunch was provided and dinner was your decision, it was held at one of the local hotels in Soldotna tho I have to tell you it was a chilly -7 degree's when I got into town! This wonderful stamp of the bear is from a retired SU set.........sorry
Here I'm using up some cut out pictures from an old Mary Englebert desk calendar, so in fact I'm recycling my calendar .......LOL, they make some great cards, and the pictures are so cute!
Yes I'm still on a roll doing Christmas cards
So any who this card that I put together using Santa tag & inchie's are from a couple of sheets of designer 12 x 12 paper.
I told you I really loved doing this Sepia technique, so here's another one using the same stamp set from SU (Holy Triptych) Now using this technique I used a stiff flat dry brush to work more color closer to the Angel all around her, I highlighted with a blue on her wings and of course I added sparkle to the wings but you can't see because of the scan.
All my cards that I make use SU card stock............I just really like the heavy weight of the 80 lb high quality........did you know that its also Acid Free, Lignin Free and buffered making it safe to use in all your scrap booking. Happy Stampin' Y'all!

Stampin'Up! Voila cards

The first one is for a workshop, I couldn't figure out what I wanted to do because I have to keep it simple and easy as the ladies that come to the workshops have several levels of skill. I did watercoloring on whisper white cardstock. All SU products are used to make all the cards that you see here today, I did use the Designer Paper Razzleberry Lemonade for all these cards. This card was done by stamping the image first on whisper white and the stamp the image again on Designer Paper and cutting out the parts you want to place on the whisper white image. On this next card I used SU water color paper that is 100#lb then I cut it with the Bigz Die Top Note Die-cut and mounted it on the DP.I'm rather happy how all the cards came out today, I had the day all to myself with nobody home but Desi, Cush and myself so I had no major interruptions.

Another Flower Pot Card

These take a little work but they sure turn out pretty! All Stampin'Up! products are used to make this slider card with flowers layering on top of one another.
SU Supplies used:

Designer Workshop Cards

These are done with Designer Papers from Stampin'Up! .......since we are running a special I wanted to do cards using mostly Designer Papers. "Tea Party" is the DP that I chose and the ladies loved making the cards today. The sparkle on the flowers is the chunky glitter they were so amazed at the Glitter they at first thought it was stick on gems. Hope this gives you all some ideas for using up you Designer Paper too!

Heard from the Heart~Bandana Card

I wanted to give the ladies something different to work on at my next Stampin' Up Workshop, so I tried playing with some of the new Colors for SU 1. Inks: Pacific Point, Kiwi Kiss, Black 2. Just getting around to setting up

These cards were for my workshop in Sterling Alaska, and I'll tell you that it was one cold day running out side to do this workshop it was a whoppin' -17 degree's outside!

Since it was so cold we didn't have a good showing but, the ones that did show had fun putting together the cards as all of them were scrapbookers and never done any cards per say.

The Cherish card is a Stampin'Up level 3 Hostess set called Time Well Spent- with "cutie pie" designer paper, using Brocade Blue and Bashful Blue

The Happy Valentine's Day card is using the Stampin'Up set called "Priceless" with scallop circle & 1-1/4 circle punches, using Groovy Guava and Purely Pomegrante
