So here's my creation, a fun little Star Book using some Unity Stamps,

Hero Arts Sentiments, Stampin' Up Stamp and Art Impression

I've used a Gorgeous Unity Stamp called "Poppy Girl"

One of my team mates picked this image out for us to use, I'm gonna tell you it was really hard for me .......nothing was working out that I liked and I ended up making my own background paper and using dies, stencils, stamps and punches to get something that I could live with and like.

It might be the fact that I don't do the doodle-zentangle thing too much but anyway I hope that you like the card that I made using CraftyGirl Creations image "Love Hand Doodle"

Good Morning!

Here on the Kenai Peninsula we've had some seasonally warm weather reaching up to the 40's lately and everyone has been enjoying it! The snow is melting rather quickly and disappearing

OSAAT Challenge #191

Good Morning

We sure have been having some really strange weather, first it warms up then gets cold with some horrid winds and blowing snow on the bluffs (which makes -degree wind chill factors) Then to top that off Friday about 11:30 we lost power ......ended up being for the whole Kenai Peninsula, just about up to Anchorage. I think it was something to do with a Transformer.

Here's wishing everyone has a safe and plentiful Thankgiving!

OSAAT #184 Challenge ~ Indian Summer

Good Morning!

What fabulous fall days we have been having lately, and boy have I been taking advantage of them! Harvesting my crops that were planted in the spring! We worked on the dog yard enlarging it today got all the fencing up and now have to shore the edges so that my Houdini dogs can't escape! I'm one tired Lady with moving fencing, posts and tools of distruction......used some muscles I forgot I had!

OSAAT Challenge #180 ~ Bit Of SteamPunk!

Good Day!

It's beginning to look a lot like Autumn around here in Alaska the leaves are changing, with blustery windy days and the temperatures dropping down at night (to low 40's) now. Wish it would slow down a bit on the rain so I could mow the lawn one last time. Hunting Season is upon us now and I had a Mama Moose show up in my back yard a couple days ago. Today I had two little ones show up in the lower back yard to graze for goodies.....

Okay now for the Challenge at One Stitch At A Time if you use a Digtal Image on your project this week come join us! We have some lovely samples from the Design Team and the Prize for the challenge is the full set of Digital Images used in challenge #178......wahoo what a haul!!

OMG I had so much fun playing with this new image from BBKakes at the Stitchy Bears Digital Outlet, I used several Tim Holtz products that I had on hand to create my project which measures 6 1/4" x 7"

Come And Get It Challenge ~Travel

Good Day!

Well this is my second posting for the day, and I just got my darling husband off again as he came home for the weekend....I sent him back up North to work. Boy was it a world wind weekend as he blew in, bringing the Motorcycle and trailer home as it's getting too cold to ride.

I'd not seen him for a few months though we talk every day.

We did a little shopping and hit a few garage sales looking for bargains.....one of his favorite past times!

Okay now to tell you about the card I made for our challenge over at Come And Get It

Judy is hosting this week, she picked "Travel" as our theme and you know there are several way to interpret modes of travel.....

I've used a brand new stamp of Mo Mannings called Mummu's Bike, Though you can find the digital image from Mo's Digital Pencil This card will be going to my Mum for her birthday!
