Soft Landing~ CGI Color Theme

Wonderful Day to you All!
We got that yucky white stuff ...."Snow" yesterday evening and it's been cold enough that it has stayed on the ground though it's just a slight dusting it's a reminder that more will be on the way!
Everyone knew that the snow was coming early because the fireweed was blooming early this year and that is a sure sign as all the Ole timers say that here in Alaska.....not looking forward for more!

Well now on to our challenge over at Come And Get It, we are doing a Color Theme this week.
I wanted to do something a little different so I used one of the fun image from "Just Some Lines" that I won in a challenge some odd weeks ago, the link to their blog is in my side bar...........So now on to my fun card using Wanda witch-soft landing......see not all witches are ghoulish! LOL   I added just a bit of glitter to the little flowers and dots for as my witch is floating down

Please use the color swatch shown below, you can use any 1 neutral color to go along with the creation of your project .....
So now it's your turn to get busy and give the color theme a try and play at Come And Get It.......make sure that you check out the other design teams wonderful cards!

~Anything Goes ~

Well Hello again, this week at Come and Get It we have "Anything Goes"
For My card I've used a stamp from Third Coast Stamps called Gulf Breeze VB-103-N, the background branching flowers are from SU stamped with staz-on and colored in with Daffodil Delight Marker, adding the little dragonfly and ribbon from my stash of goodies
I stamped the sentiment out and cut them up for single words and mounted on dark brown card stock

So after coloring in my image I coated picture with 2 layers of clear embossing

Thanks for stopping by!

Handmade Paper Bag Book

Hello there, I've been working on my project for 3 days and finally got it finished...this is one of the last page in it....as you can see that I have a pull-out pocket with a flower embellished circle tab and one of the few stamped images of flourishes

More pages with tabs that have pockets using the label punch from Stampin'Up!    Did you notice that I have side tabs as well as upper tabs for hidden pocket?

The pages with dotted pink are the only pages that I added some embossed black sentiments to them, here you see the lined page on the inner part of the pull-out tab page

The Front of my book.......gorgeous paper I found and the rose is idea is from a sister blogger and she got it from a video that I watched from here and I'm giving credit to Valita for her wonderful videos!       Tho one thing I did different was use decorative scallop scissors to cut my center scallop to add more dimension to the center of the flower.

Here's a close up of my rose the paper that I used was rather thick and kind of hard to mold but I got it all together........I hope you take the time to watch Valita's video using the Stampin'Up! punches....  I am also entering this to a challenge for The Crafty Pad

Thanks for coming by for a look see, I so enjoying hearing from you!

Got some needed cards done

I join a sketch swap and am a little late getting it out because I've been gone for 8 days straight driving the Tour Bus, boy did I need this time that I'm off too! Here in Alaska we take full advantage of the construction season but it sure sucks to be stuck in a 45 minute traffic waiting for the pilot car that directs you down the one lane road around construction! (A normal 3 hour drive takes me 4 1/4 hours) Anyway I'm back and got some cards done......first is the July Sketch card using some of newly purchased Gorjuss Girls. I'm just loving my Gorjuss Girls that I got from Funky Kits in the United Kingdom, this card is for the Ladies Card Guild on Friday.......I always say I'm not gonna go but it's too fun not to! Lots of catching up with friends that I've not seen for awhile and lots of card makin' going on!

Customer Cards are done!

Well I got them all done and the cards are to be delivered Monday morning! Everything making these cards are from SU 1. Snow Burst stamp set 2. To You & Yours stamp set 3. Lovely As a Tree stamp set 4. Confetti White , Pacific Point and Whisper White Cardstock 5. Apriot Appeal, Pacific Point and Basic Black Ink 6. Uniball Signo White Pen With a couple exceptions........Santa & Reindeer they are from Hero Arts. The glitter on the trees and blowing snow is from a "gelly roll" pen by Sakura .
