Revamped Tag

Hey there you'll notice that my tag is a bit different I just wasn't happy with it, so I changed it a bit with a silk flower a dash of stickles for that little sparkle then added the same button over the green leaf button..........now I feel better about it!  LOL  ....Aren't we are own worst critic???

Art Tags

Hello, I've busy making some fun Art Tags, some of these are for a swap going on one of my yahoo groups.  The light blue seaside tag is from a old, old retired SU set that I got at a co-op store in Anchorage.........it doesn't even have a year on it.  I stamped the image on the tag with staz-on, stippled on some SU Marina Mist, brushed on some PPA (perfect paper adhesive)  layered it with a napkin..........and scrunched it a bit and sprinkled some crystal effectz glitter for sparkle and let it dry.  Lastly going over the tag one more time with PPA to finish it off! The darker blue Tag I clear embossed it, went over with SU Pacific Point ink, sprayed it with Radiant Rains for some added sparkly glimmer then topped it off with some buttons. The red Tag was done the same way using a napkin but I painted it red first and let it dry before putting the stamped Tilda and then I brushed on a layer of PPA.  Yes it works with Copic Markers......no bleeding of colors or anything!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Another Sneak Peek...........

Well here we are again with a peek at another swap that I did, I stamped out the background and painted it with Twinkling H2O's ........well that's all I'm gonna say for now.  So I'm gonna leave you in suspense for awhile as to what it is.  HINT: 3-D

Gunner's Birthday Card

First of all I want to say how proud I am of my son.......he' currently in Iraq, serving in the Air Force on his second tour of duty, his birthday is coming up a week after Easter. So I made this card.......he's such an enthusiastic outdoor person and thought this would be perfect for him especially since he love being on the beach, God willing he'll get his package before his birthday. Happy Stampin'Yall!

SU Create-A-Calendar Kit 2009

This calendar will be sent to my Mom, so with thoughts of her as I decorated these pages for her Stamps are from varies companies....SU, IO, Penny Black, See Dee's and many others that I can't think of right now August was done thinking of the Dog Days of Summer..........LOL As you see September is marked with my Mom's Birthday Yeah I know I got these last two months turned around, but that is just how it turned out when I scanned the 2 together. You can only get the Create-A-Calender Kit until January 18, 2009........it's in the Holiday Mini Catalog on page 3 comes with everything you need except the extra adhesive to put the folder together and it's only $7.95

Deco's for Soldotna Group

This Deco is for Donna Swaby a new member for the group........so I had to search thru my stamps for my Tea/Coffee stamps and liked my Impression Obessions stamps for this one........had to add a mini tag with Tea printed on it. I used designer paper for the background and stamped mini tea pots on it. (unknown stamp) Smudging Kiwi Kiss & Pink Pirquoette color around with sponge daubers from Stampin' Up. Stampin'Up markers and sparkle gel pens were used for coloring the tea mug. This Deco was made for Dody Tachick and she picked Old Days for her Deco. I found a old picture of the first Territorial School in Kenai Alaska in 1904 .........so that became part of her deco just adding a time piece from a ATC book and a expoxy sticker .........outlining the edges with Radiant Rains for sparkle

Summer Swap & Collage Cards

These cards are for a Summer fun Swap and I made 10 of the same design. I used SU Time With You that was retired in 2007.

Cardstock is Groovy Guava, stamped with Purely Pomegranate. The edging on the card is from the SU set Trimtastic and the background stamped glass is from SU Sparkling Summer these also were retired in 2007

SU markers, the photo corner punch and Red hemp twine were used. The saying on the tag is a stamp I picked up at Michael's a few years back.

I was just playing around with a new stamp that I'd gotten at the LSS. (local stamp store)
20's Flapper stamp is from Alpha-Stamps and the background is using different SU sets
1. Embrace Life-pink cherry blossoms
2. Infinite Goodness-Blue Flowers, Dragonflies
3. Garden Silhouettes-Charm
First I masked the flapper and began random stamping then colored everything in with SU markers.
Stippled Brushed on some Bashful Blue and added just a little sparkle I misted it with "Radiant Rains" Stargazer.
Antique Brass Hodgepodge Hardware with pink ribbon with Night of Navy cardstock. Notched the corners with ticket corner punch.

I think it almost looks like its a frame around the 20's Flapper?? LOL

Another Birthday Card

This card was done for my oldest son that lives in Washington State, the stamp is from Impression-Obessions.
I dry brushed most all the colors except the green grass on the hill and amonst the rocks. Then I put 2 coats of clear embossing powder to add a little shine to it, adding just a couple of brads on strips of window cut-out from a punch. (All other items not mentioned are by SU)

More fun making cards

I stamped these out last nite but had to wait for the glitter to dry on the Coffee card........some more of the Impression Obession stamps that I'd yet got a chance to use. I used the coffee beans from Stampin'Up's "Like it a latte"

Lazy days of Summer was an inspiration of Art Impression Clear stamps..........again some stamps that I'd not used before. I use "Shore thing" by Stampin'Up as the background stamps, isn't the Penguin adorable in lounging beauty.........LOL

Challenge Card for Technique Junkies

I got a new stamp from Impression-Obessions and had to give it a try ........love the Peacock!

The background technique is "Reinker Splash" and the Peacock is done in Twinkling H2O's over sprayed with "Radiant Rains" Gold Shimmer.

I stamped out 2 of the images so I tried blue & green themes to see which one I liked best.
Green theme is layered on Gold/Dark Blue, Blue theme is layered on Gold/Black.
